'1H,GUL4AR MP,ETING OF THE FRESTD +ANT AND B OP RD OF TRUSTEES HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS ON TUESDAY, MAY P, 1951 . The meeting was called to order by President Pendleton At 8:15 P.M. rind the Clerk was then directed to call the roll. On roll ea11 the fn11.owing Trustees answered Present: Bayne, Brown, GoodlinP, Hartwig, Ibbotson and Lams. Absent, None. TT-I Clerk then reed the minutes ov' the regular meeting held May 1. A motion was made by 'Trustee Hartwig, seconded by Lams, that the minutes be arrroved es rend. The President put the nuestion end the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: till Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried and said minutes arrroved. The Clerk then reed the minutes of the regular meeting held May 1, 1951. A motion was made by Trustee Brown, seconded by Ibbotson, that the minutes be errroved as read. The President put the nuestion and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Aves: All; Nq rs: None. ` Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and said minutes arrroved. The Treasurer's report for the reriod ending April 70, 1951, was then read. The motion was made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Lams, that the report be arrroved as corrected and r_leced on file. The President runt the nuestion and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: A11: I1nys: none. Thereupon the President declared the motion serried. A motion was then made by Trustee Lams, seconded by Brown, that the Special Assessments report be Placed on file. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion WAS made by Trustee Lams, seconded by Bayne, that the fills as nrproved by the Finance Committee be approved for payment. The President put the ouesticn end the Clerk called the roll with the following response: Ayes: All; Nays: N,.ne. There- upon the President declared the motion carried. May 8, 1951 A motion was made by Trustee Goodlinp, 241 seconded by Lams, that in accordance with the amended water ordinance, the 05.00 water deposit be refunded to Qualified residents as reported by Water hate Collector April 70, 1951. The President put the nuestion and the Clerk celled the roll with the foll.owinp results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried and said refunds nuthorized. The Clerk then read Resolution No. 10 -51 "RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS': A motion was made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Lees that the resolution be adopted. The President rut the Question and the Clerk called the roll with the follow - ins► results: Ayes: Ali; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried find said resolu- tion rnssed and ar.rroved. The following communication was then read: Mr. Robert r. Milligan M'y 1951 Village Clerk of the Villape of Mt. Prospect Mt. Prospect, Illinois Dear Mr. Milligan Pursuant to the resolution which you recently sent me, calling for the termination of Federal rent cortrol in your community, an amendment to the rent regulations has been issued decontrolling rents in your community, ef'ective ray 1, 1951. Sincerely yours Tighe y. Woods Housing Expediter The Clerk was instructed to nlfjce the letter on file. A motion was then rede by Trustee Bevne, seconded by Ibbotson, to grant conditional errrovsl of the rlat of Arthur T. McIntosh & Co.'s Northwest Meadows Subdivision, subject to recommended chenPes end final arrrova_l by the Planning Commission. The President put the cuestion and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Aves: All; Nsys: none. Thereupon the president declared the motion carried. The Clerk then read a contract between Barrington Trucking• Co. end the Village coverinp garbage disposal for the Period of May 1, 1951 to April ?0, 1952. A motion was made by Trustee Brown, seconded by Larne, that the contract be annoyed end the President end Vi 11ae Clerk be authorized to sign the contract for the Village. The President rut the question and the Clerk called the roll with the follow- ing results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. The motion wss oracle by Trustee Goodlinw, seconded by Hsrtwip , that permission be ivranted to the American Legion Auxiliary to hold Porpv Day and taps in Mt. Prospect on Friday,_ Mny 25. The motion was voted upon by reclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried. There being no further business to cerise before the meeting, e motion was made by Trustee Ha rtwi0, seconded by Brown, that the meeting be adjourned.
