(; MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF
THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, HELD IN TILL MUNICIPAL
BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
ON TUESDAY, JULY 1, 1952
The meeting was called to order hat President
Pendleton at 8:15 P.M. and the Clerk was then directed
to call the roll. On roll call the following Trustees
answered "Present:" Bayne, Ibbotson, Lams, Lange, and
Viger. Absent: None, Vacancy One.
The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular
meetinP of June 10th, 1952. The motion was made by
Trustee Bayne, seconded by Lams, that the minutes be
approved as read. The President put the question and

The Clerk then read a petition From Theodore
C. Moehling requesting annexation of his property
comprising 11.665 acres between Sh Bonee Trail on the
north, Weller Creek on the south Emerson St., extended
on the east, and Wine St. extended, on the west.
The Clerk then read Ordinance No 767 enti ed:
"AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A PART OF THE SOUTH HALF OF
SOUTH WEST QUARTER OF SECTI CN 12, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH,
RANGE 11 EAST OF THE THIRD PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN" The
motion was made by Trustee Viper, seconded by Bayne,
that the Ordinance be passed. The President put the
question and the Clerk called the roll with the following
results: Ayes: Trustees Bayne, Ibbotson, Lams, Lange
and Viger. Nays: None. Vacancy: One. Thereupon the
President declared the motion carried and said
Ordinance passed and approved.
The Clerk then read a letter dated July 1st,
from Donald L. Besander requesting vacating of the
20 foot alley west of Main St. and south ofverg een.

The Clerk then read resolution No. 5 -52:
'RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS:
A motion was made by Trustee Lams, seconded by Lange,
that the resolution be adopted. The President put the
question and the Clerk called the roll with the following
results: Ayes; All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President
declared the motion carried and said resolution passed
and approved.

The Clerk then read a letter dated June 27th
from the Sanitary District of Chicago transmitting
copies of an Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance For The Control
and Abatement of Pollution of eater Within the Sanitary
District of Chicago," and advising the Village to have
the Village Engineers comply with regulations of the
Ordinance relating to the sewage; system of the
Village.
The Clerk was instructed to acknowledge the
letter to the Sanitary District and to send a copy of
the acknowledgement together with a copy of the
Ordinance to the Village Engineers for their guidance.
The Clerk then read a letter from the Village
Engineers transmitting copy of State Department of
Public Health Water Approval #135,1952 issued for the
entension of the water main on 4merson St. south of
ShaBonee Trail.
The Clerk was instructed to write the barbers
in Mt. Prospect, advising them that disposal of hair
from their shops by burning was a public nuisance and
the practice should be discontinued.
There being no further business to come
before the meeting the motion was made by Trustee Bayne,
seconded by Viger, that the meeting be adjourned. The
motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried and the meeting
regularly adjourned.
