discuss the need for traffic signals on Illinois 83 in Mount
School crossing Stop signals can no longer be installed
on Federal-aid highways, such as Illinois 83, because they are not
recognized as standard traffic control devices in the 1961

There is a possibility that regular traffic control
signals can be justified at one or both locations you mentioned.
This can only be determined by actually counting ~raffic. If you
are interested in proceeding, you should contact Mr. ~. A.
Benowicz, District Engineer, 300 North State Street, Chicago.

forms and information concerning their use.
