HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/02/1952 VB minutes 3 0 4 OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES, HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT., ILLINOIS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 1952 The meeting was called to order by }resident Pendletonat 8:20 P.M. The Clerk was instructed to call the roll. On roll call the following trustees answered "Present:" Bayne, Ibbotson, Lane, Viper, and Wilson. Trustee Lams was absent. The minutes of the adjourned meeting of August 18th were then read. The motion was made by Trustee Ibbotson, seconded by Lange, that the minutes be approved as read. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the president declared the motion carried. The motion was then made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Wilson, to deny the petition of 'red and Frieda Piepenbrink, dated August 9, 1952, for annexation of 11.03 acres; between Gregory and Thayer Streets, east of Maple Street; to the Village. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: all; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. September 2, 1952 A motion was made by Trustee Lange, seconded 305 by Viger, to restrict parking to fifteen minutes along the north and south curbs on Avergreen Avenue between Main and Willa Streets, and along the south curb of Prospect Avenue between Main and Emerson Streets. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following response: Ayes: All; Neys: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion was then made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Viger, to refund the twenty dollar (420) beverage • license fee covering Fall Festival of the Lions Club. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the motion was made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Viper, that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried, and the meeting regularly adjourned. • U-
