HomeMy WebLinkAbout09/09/1952 VB minutes U- MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF ThE 1RE6IDFNT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES HELD IN THE MUNICIBAL BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS TUESDAY , Sr;r 1 9, 1952 The meeting was called to order by President Pendleton at 8:15 P.M. The Clerk was then directed to call the roll. On roll call the following Trustees answered "Present :" Bayne, Ibbotson, Lams, Lange, Viper, and Wilson Absent: None. The Clerk then rend the minutes of the regular Meeting held SAptember 2nd. A motion was made by Trustee Lange, secrrded by Wilson that the minutes be , approved as read. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: Ali; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. The Treasurer's report for the period erdi ray August 71st, was then read. The motion was made by Trustee Lams, seconded by Lange, that the Report be nrrroved and placed on file. The President rut the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: All Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion Was then made by Trustee Bayne, seconded by Lams, that the Special Assessments Report be arrroved and placed on file. The motion was voted upon by acclama- tion, whereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion was then made by Trustee Lams, seconded by Bayne, that the bills for the month of August, as arrroved by the Finance committee be arrroved for rnvment with corrections es noted. The President rut the question and the Clerk called the Toll with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays; None. Thereupon the President declared the motion, carried. The motion was made by Trustee Lars, seconded by Lange, to ecr.,er.t and place on file, the audit of Village funds covering the fiscal year ended Arril 70th 1952, es submitted by G. iii iliam Moore, C.F.A. The President put the question end the Clerk called the roll with the following response: Ayes: Ail; Nays: None. Thereupon the Fr.ed?ent declnred the motion carried. September 9, 1952 A motion was made by Trustee Viper, seconded bv Lem, that the 45.00 water deposit be refunded to queli fied consumers as listed 1)-7 eater Eate Collector, August 31st. The President put the question end the Clerk called the roll with the Following results: Ayes: All; Nevs: None. There- upon the President declared the motion carried. The Clerk then rend n letter dated September 8th from the Village Engineers, regarding request made to Rend Buildirg Corp. to complete the water main construction on North Main St., consis ti rp of a six inch cross c ^erection et Hi phlanrl Ave. zLz The motion was merle by Trustee Berne, secorded by Viper, that the Rend Bui ldi np Corr. be notiij.e1 by RAoistered 4 , mail, return receipt reeuested , the t water service w11 not be turned on the North L1m Street or other rests of wastle Feiihts, East, unless the work or the 6 inch cross correction referred to in the Village Engireers letter of September r, 1952 is oomrleted. The motion wns voted upon by acclamation, whereuror the President declared the motior carried. There being no further business to come before the meeting, the motion was made by Trustee Viper, secorded by Lams, that the meeting be adjourned.
