ON TUESiAY, JANUARY 6, 195:
The meetinp wHS called to order by 'resident
Pendleton nt 8:25 I.M. and the Clerk was then directed
to call_ the roll. On roll all the following Trustees
answered "Present:" Bayne, Ibbotson, Lamsn, Lingo, Vier
and 'Yilson. Absent: None.
The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular
meeting of December 9th, 1952. . The motion was made by
Trustee Lams, seconded by Lange, that the minutes be
arproved vs read. The President rut the question and the
' e, Clerk called the roll with the foliowinp results: Ayes:
all; Nnvs: None. Thereupon the 1 declared the
motion carried.
The Clerk then rend the minutes of a srecinl
moeti np of December 16, 1952. The motion we ride by
Trustee Viper, seconded by Ibbotson, that the minutes
be erproved as reed. The President rut the question
and the Clerk called the roll with the following results:
Aves: All: Nnvs: None. Thereupon the 'resident declared
the motion carried.
• The Clerk then read Summons No. 52 S 180 70
Superior Court of Cook County. 1-1 motion was made by
Trustee Bayne, seconded by Lanrre, that the Village Attorney
be authorized to file an appearance on behalf of the
Vi11ape. The motion was voted upon by acclnnation
whereupon the 'resident declared the motion carries.
The Clerk then read a letter dated January 5,
1957, from Attorney Leonnrd C. Meade, offering to act
as Special Council, to clean up sale and assirn,ment of
Liens of all Special Assessments, outstanding in the
Viliape of Mount Prospect. This communication was
referred to the Judiciary Committee for their study.
A letter dated December. 22nd, 1952, from the
State of Illinois, Division of highways, outlininp
conditions that must be met for rermission to install
crossing control 1iphts at the intersection of Route 83
and Central. Road, was then read. Ti letter was referred
to the Police and Iiph t Committee for their rtudv.
A motion was made by Trustee Wilson, seconded
by Bayne, to aut iori•e the expenditure of a sum not to
exceed two hundred and fifty dollars (4')250.00), for
complete installation, Cr r; traffic flasher lirht at the
Main -Busse intersection. The President rut the question
and the Clerk called the roll with the following results:
Ayes: Al); Nays: None. Thereuron the President declared
the motion carried.
A motion was then made by Trustee Ylilson,
seconded by Lams, authorizing the erecting of a sign on
the east side of Main St., fifteen feet south of the south
edge of cross -walk, at Busse Avenue and Main Street,

motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried.

318 The motion was made by Trustee Ibbotson,
seconded bv Wilsor, to authorize the expenditure, rot
to exceed one hundred and ten dollars (8110.00) for
the Bui ldi np Superintendent to attend the geventh
annual school for building inspectors nt Iowa State
Collene. The l resident put the question rind the Clerk
called the roll with the follov; inn results: Ayes: All
Nays: Yore. Thereuron the l resident declared the
motion carried.
A motion was made by Trustee Viper, seconded
bv I:nms, that in accordance with the amended water
Ordinance, the five dollar deposit be refunded to ;qualified
consumers as listed by 'eater Hate Collector, December 31,
1952. The President rut the nuestion and the Clerk called
the roll with the followirp results: Aves: A11; Nays: None
Thereupon the President declared the motion carried.

Gentlemen:
To fill a vacancy on the Mt. Prospect Plan
Commission occasioned bv the romovalof Mr. Paul
Ward from our Village, I take pleasure in announcing
the arroirtment of Mr. Phillip Jeuck, Sr.
Mr. Jeuck is n man of sound judgment, a sub-
stantial property owner, civic minded and has a
successful background ns an engineer and businessman.
I feel confident that he wolld discharge the duties
ns a member of this important . Commission with
complete satisfectbn to this Board and to the best
Interests of our municipality.

A motion was made by Trustee Boyne, seconded
by Lams, thnt the appointment be concurred in. The
motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried.
There being no further business to come before
the meeting, a motion was made by Trustee Viper, seconded
by Ibbotson, that the meeting be adjourned. The notion
was voted upon bv acclamation, whereupon the 'resident
declared the motion carried and the meeting regularly
adjourned.
