HELD TUESDAY~ SEPTEMBER 24, 1963
The'meeting was called to order by P~esident Schlaver
au 8:10 P.M. and upon roll call the following were present: roll call
Ekren Bergeu Casterline
Absent: Phillips Bickley Bruhl
President Schlaver then declared the meeting unofficial because
of lack of quorum.
Mr. Liederbach from the new Cinema Theatre soon to open Building
described the architectural features of the building being erected A.E.D.
behind the Plaza east of Rand Road. Addition
Clerk Ruth Wilson read the following bids for erection
of well house au No. 6 on Foundry Road:
Well 6 Wellhouse
John Erskine Co. $20,363 ~120 days bids
Keno & Sons 21,347 120 days
Fleetwood Contrs. 16,950 90 days
Walter H. Wigert 18~206 60 days
President Schlaver referred the bids to the Fire & Water Committee
in consultation with engineer Art Lewis of Consoer, Townsend for
study and recommendation.
Clerk Ruth Wilson read the following bids for purchase
of two police cars: Police Dept
caps
Litsinger Motors $4,150 1964 4-dr Ford
Allowance for Cars 125 and 126 - $1200 Each
Geo. Poole Ford $4~252 1964 4-dr Ford
Allowance for Cars 125 and 126 - $950 each
Mark Motors $4,421.92 1964 4-dr Plymouth
Police Patroller
Allowance for Cars 125 and 126 - $900 and $850
These bids were referred to Committee for study and recommendation.
T~ustee Ca~erline reported that t~e committee appointed Zoning -
by P~esident Schlaver to meet with Arlington Heights officials Old Orchard
regarding disposition of a~ea around 01d Orchard Country Club had Country Club
met and made their report available. (This committee consisted of
Eugene Martin, Alpheus Dresser, William Casterline and Parker
Ekren.)
Trustee Ekren added that the economic angle had not been discussed;
any objections noted in the report referred to zoning only. This re-
port was referred to the Village Attorney to use as directive for
action in meeting held with Cook County Zoning Board of Appeals.

Mr. Richard Monroe of the Mount Prospect Zoning Board
spoke of the contemplated boundary line denoting sphere of
influence between Mount Prospect and Arlington Heights, stating
he wished to discuss this with all the trustees. --
This informal meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
