On roll call the following Trustees answered: "Present:" Coutts, Einrichs, Ibbotson, Lange, Viger, and Wilson. Absent: None. The Clerk then read the minutes of the meeting held October 13, 1953. A motion was made by Trustee Wilson, seconded by Lange, that the minutes be approved asrmad. 0 The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. The following letter was then read: October 29, 1953 President and Board of Trustees Village Hall Mount Prospect, Illinois Re: I.F.T. • Section 3. 1 -CS Gentlemen: Reference is made to our letters of March 6 and October 2, 1953, relative to final payment estimate for M.F.T. Section 3.1 -CS, Emerson Street Traffic Signals. �.. We were advised today, by letter, of to approval of this final payment estimate by the °tate Highway Division and, therefore, recommend that full payment in the amount of $3,085.38 be made to the contractor, H -li Electric Company. Very truly yours, Consoer, Townsend & Associates By: Myer Engler The motion was then made by Trustee Wilson, seconded by Hinrichs, that payment in the amount of three thousand eighty -five dollars and thirty -eight cents ($3085.38) be made to the h -H Electric Company as recommended. The President l put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Lange, seconded by Wilson, to authorize the payment of seven hundred and fifty dollars ($750.00) to the Santucci Construction Co. for repair work done on See -Gwun Avenue. The President put the question and the Clerk calledthe roll with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the: President declared the motion carried. A motion was then made by Trustee Lange, seconded by Coutts, to authorize the purchase of a Tarco Scotchman chemical spreader for a sum not to exceed six hundred dollars. ($600.00) the President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: All: Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion was made by Trustee Wilson, seconded by Viger, that the Village Attorney be instructed to prepare 0." a resolution designatinE Arlington heights National bank and the Mount Prospect tate Bank as depositories for Various Village securities and that the Village President Village Clerk, and Village TreasuEr, be named as co- signers. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried. • Summons No. 538 15820, Superior Court of gook County, and Summons No. 53C 14603 Circuit Court of Cook County were then read. A motion was made by Trustee Hinrichs, seconded by Coutts, to authorize the Village Attorney to file an appearance and answer off behalf of the Village. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whe eupon the President declared the motion carried. November 3, 1953 37 0 A motion was then made by Trustee Hinrichs, seconded by Viger to authorize the Village I'ttorney to appear at the hearing on Monday, November 9th, before the Illinois Commerce Commission, File No. 41 341, regarding the bluett water Supply application for a certificate to construct and operate a water system adjacent to the village of Mount Prospect. The Clerk then read Ordinance No. 387, entitled: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR TbE TINE AND PLACE OF MEETING OF THE PRESIDENT AND MEN.BERSOF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TEE VILLAGE OF MOTINT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS ", KNOWN AS ORDINANCE NO. 37." A motion was made by Trustee Hinrichs, seconded by Wilson, that the Ordinance be passed. The President put the question and the `'lerk called the ill with the ,.r following results: Ayes: Trustee Hinrichs, Ibbotson, Lange, Viger, and Wilson. Nays: Trustee Coutts. Whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the Ordinance passed and approved. A motion was made by Trustee Wilson, seconded by Hinrichs, authorizing the President and village Clerk to execute the escrow agreement making the Community Savings and Loan Hssociation of Chicago the depository for the Munao Brothers Public Improvement Funds and providing for the disbursement therefrom. The President put the question and the Clerk called the roll with the following results: Ayes: all; Nays: None. Thereupon the President declared the motion carried. The motion was then made by Trustee Hinrichs, seconded by Lange, to submit the preliminary plat of a proposed sub - division by Mr. John Pearson to the Plan Commission for their study and recommendation. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried. A motion was made by Trusyee Hinrichs, seconded by Viger, that plans for a proposed paving of Na -wa -ta Avenue, between Manawa Trail and Lonnquist Parkway be submitted to the Village Engineers for their study and recommendation. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried. There being no further business to come before the meeting a motion was made by Trustee Viger, seconded by Hinrichs, that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the President declared the motion carried and the meeting regularly adjourned.
