Deputy Director Brian Simmons, stated that Mount Prospect public pools are currently
compliant with the federal standard. Mr. Simmons also noted that there is a redundancy of
services with the State, County and the Village making similar inspections to the pools.
Other questions dealt with what governmental entity would handle the inspections and the
records of the inspections; how often and when the inspections would be conducted; and if
there was a fee charged.
