OF THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF
TRUSTEES, HELD IN THE MUNICIPAL
BUILDING, MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS
CN TUESDAY, MARCH 15, 1955
The meeting was called to order by President Lams at
8:25 P.M. and the Clerk was then directed to call the roll.
On roll call, the following Trustees answered "Present":
Schlaver, Viger, Viller and Wilson. Trustees Ibbotson and Wright
were absent.
The Trustees having previously received copies of the
minutes of the meeting held March 1, 1955, a motion was made by
Trustee viller, seconded by Schlaver, that the minutes be approved
as submitted. The President put the question, the Clerk called the
roll, with the following results: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon
the President declared the motion carried and said minutes approved.
A motion was made by Trustee Schlaver, seconded by Willer,

question, the Clerk called the roll, with the following response:

Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the 4 Z
President declared the motion carried. t�
A motion was then: made by Trustee Schlaver,
seconded by Willer, that the Treasurer's Report of the
Special Assessments Fund be approved and placed on file.
The motion was voted upon by acclamation, whereupon the
President declared the motion carried.
A motion was made by Trustee Schlaver, seconded by
Willer, that the bills for the month of February, as
approved by the Finance Committee, be approved for payment.
The President put the question, the Clerk called the roll with
the following response: Ayes: All; Nays: None. Thereupon the
omm President declared the motion carried.

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 6 -A of Article 7
of Chapter 24 of the ILLINOIS REVISED STATUTES, as Amended,
the undersigned, to -wit: EMIL SEEGERS and ANNA SEEGERS,
owners of PARCEL CNE, Hereinafter described, and HENRY
MOELLENKAMP, JR., and MAE VICTORIA MOELLENKAMP, his wife,
owners of PARCEL RCELTWO, hereinafter described, petition the
Honorable President and the Members of the Board of Trustees
of the Village of MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, for annexation
to the VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, of the following
described property or territory, to -wit:
PARCEL ONE.
Lot EIGHTEEN (18) in OWNER'S SUBDIVISION (except the North
five hundred twenty -six (526) feet, as measured on the West
Line of said property), in Section Thirteen (13), Township
Fortyone (Lf.l), Range Eleven (11), in Cook County, Illinois.
PARCEL TWO.
Lot SIXTEEN (16) (except the Easterly Thirty -three (33) Acres
thereof; and exceth also that part of the .hest One Hundred
(160) feet (as measured along the North Line of Golf Road)
of the South Two Hundred (200) feet (as measured along the
West Line of Lot SIXTEEN (16) , lying North of the North Line
of Golf Road, as dedicated, and except that part of the East
One Hundred (100) feet of the West Two Hundred (200) feet; as
measured along the North Line of Golf Road; of the South Two
Hundred (200) feet; as measured along the ?Vest Line of Lot
Sixteen (16) , lying North of the North Line of Golf Road, as
dedicated; in OWNER'S SUBDIVISION of Section Thirteen (13),
Township Forty -one (41) North Range Eleven (11), East of the
Third Principal Meridan, in Cook County, Illinois.
and in support of said Petition states:
FIRST: That the aforementioned PARCEL ONE and PARCEL TWO are
contiguous parcels of land, lying at the North -east corner of
A+ Golf Road and Elmhurst Road (Routes 58 and 83 respectively)
and are adjacent to the Easterly limits of the Village of
Mount Prospect.
SECOND: That there are no residents, occupants or electors
residing on said property, said property being vacant and un-
improved and used for farming purposes.
THIRD: That the said territory is contiguous to the
Municipality of the VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, in that the
said territory lies directly East of the Eastern Boundary
of MOUNT PROSPECT, and directly across ELMHURST ROAD from the
said Village of MOUNT PROSPECT.

FOURTH: TYt the said EMIL CEEGE S and ANNA SEEGERS are the
owners in roe simple of PARC ONE above described, and that
the said HENRY MOELLENKAMP, Jr., and MAE VICTORIA MOELLENKAMP;
488 his wife, are the owners in fee simple of PARCEL TWO
above described.
FIFTH: That none of the aforesaid territory is within the
corporate limits of any Municipality.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the said parties have hereunto set
their hands and seals, the 15th day of Marcia. A.D. 1955.

The following letter was then read:

To The Honorable President and Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect
Re: In reference to Plat of Second Addition to
COUNCIL TRAIL ESTATES
Gentlemen:
Theodore C. Moehling and Alice M. Moehling, his wife herewith
propose to pay the sum of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS (0,000.00) cash to
the Village of Mount Prospect for the purpose of maintaining parks
and park equipment, and in lieu of donating one (1) acre for park
purposes from said Second Addition to Council Trail Estates.
The said sum to be paid as follows: FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS
( 500.00' herewith attached, and the sum of FIFTEEN HUNDRED DOLLARS on" ( to be paid of May 1, 1 955, secured by a personal Note
of the said owners of the Second Addition to - Council Trail Estates.
This sum; of TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS ($2,000.00) is equivalent of the
purchase price of one acre.
Hoping this will satisfy the requirements for park area in the
Second Addition to Council Trail Estates.

The Clerk then read Ordinance No. SA0 -54 entitldd
"AN ORDINANCE FOR THE IMPRO VEMa'T OF GREGORY STREET, AND OTHER
STREETS WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY,
ILLINOIS, BY GRADING, CURBING AND PAVING, ETC., INCLUDING THE
COST OF FURNISHING ALL LABOR, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS". A
motion was then made by Trustee Willer, seconded by Wilson,
that this ordinance be passed. The President put the question,
the Clerk called the roll, with the following response: Ayes:
Trustees Schlaver, Viger, Willer and 'dilson. Nays: None.
Absent: Trustees Ibbotson and Wright. Thereupon the President
declared the motion carried and said ordinance passed and
approved.
A motion was then made by Trustee Willer, seconded by
Viger, that the meeting be adjourned until 10:00 A.M., Saturday
March 19, 1955. The motion was voted upon by acclamation where-
upon the President declared the motion carried.
