A RESOLJTION TO FORECLOSE THE
LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT.

WHEREAS, ordinances have heretofore been adopted providing for
the construction of certain water, sewer, sidewalk and paving im-
provements, and special assessments, pursuant thereto were levied to
pay the cost of said work pursuant to the statute applicable there -':
to and said work and improvements constructed and the report of
cost and completion was approved in manner and form as provi ded by
law and effecting, in part, the following described real estate:
Lots 6 and 7 in Block 4; Lot 6 in Block 9; Lot 1 in
Block 10; Lots 2, 3, 11, 12, and 16 to 19 incl. in Block 13;
Lots 6 and 10 in Block 14; Lot 7 in Block 15; Lots 2 and 5
in Block 18; Lot 9 in Block 20; Lot 13 in Block 21; Lot 15 '//
in Block 22; Lots 1 to 19 incl. in Block 24; Lots 6 to 10
incl. in Block 29; all in Prospect Park Country Club Subdi-
vision being a subdivision of the South East quarter of
Section 11, and the South 15 acres of the East half of the
North East quarter of said Section 11, in Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of. the 3rd P.r`.
also
Lot 11 in Block 7; and Lot 12, in Block 10; in Busse's
Eastern Addition to count Prospect, in the East half of
Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, east of the 3rdP.14i.
also
Lots 96 and 211 in H. Roy Berry Cots Colonial Manor in
Sections 11 and 12, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the 3rd P.M.
also
Lot 10 Block 5 in Prospect Manor Subdivision in Section 34,
Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd P.1.
and
WHEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay the cost of
said improvements and pursuant to the Statute applicable thereto
said improvements were constructed and the report of cost and com-
pletion was approved in manner and form provided by law; and
WHEREAS, only a small portion of installments of said special
assessments levied against the aforesaid lots have been paid and .
all other installments are now past due and delinquent; and
�,'�/ WHEREAS, the President and the Board of Trustees find that

it will be for the best interests of this Village that said spe-

cial assessment liens be foreclosed; now, therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
Section 1. That the special assessment liens against the fol-
lowing described real estate, to -wit:
Lots 6 and 7 in Block 4; Lot 6 in Block 9; Lot 1 in Block 10;
Lots 2, 3, 11, 12, and 16 to 19 incl. in Block 13;Lots 6 and
10 in Block 14; Lot 7 in Block 15; Lots 2 and 5 in Block 18;
Lot 9 in Block 20; Lot 13 in Block 21; Lot 15 in Block 22;
Lots 1 to 19 incl. in Block 24; Lots 6 to 10 incl. in Block
29; all in Prospect Park Country Club subdivision, being a
subdivision of the South East quarter of Section 11, and the
South 15 acres of the East half of the North East quarter of
said Section 11, in Township 41 Northli Range 11 East of 3rd P.K.
also
Lot 11 in Block 7; and Lot 12, in Block 10; in Busse's Eastern

be foreclosed.
Section 2. That Frank M. Opeka, attorney for the Village be
and he is hereby authorized and directed to prosecute said fore -
closure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate with the States
Attorney of Cook County, in procuring the foreclosure of the lien
of the general taxes upon said lots, if any there be, which this
Board hereby requests the States Attorney to foreclose; and further,
to cooperate with the officials of the Weller Creek Drainage Dis-
trict or any other district, in procuring the foreclosure of the
lien of drainage benefit assessments upon said lots, if any there
be, which this Board hereby requests said Drainage Districts to
foreclose; that said attorney is hereby authorized to file suit
for foreclosure or to ;loin in any suit or suits for foreclosure
instituted by the States Attorney to foreclose the lien of general
taxes and to take such other steps as he deems proper to procure
the prompt sale of said property to satisfy said tax liens.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in

conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
