RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE
LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
No. 33 - 46
WHEREAS. Ordinances have heretofore been adopted pro-
viding for the construction of certain water, sewer, sidewalk
and paving improvements in portions of the Village of Mount
Prospect, Cook County, Illinois;
WHEREAS. special assessments were levied to pay the
cost of said work and pursuant to the Statute applicable there -
to, said improvements were constructed and the report of cost
and completion was approved in manner and form provided by law;
and
WHEREAS. certain installments of said special assess-
ments levied against individual lots have not been paid and are
now past due and delinquent; and
WHEREAS. the President and the Board of Trustees find
that it will be for the best interests of the Village that said
special assessment liens be foreclosed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the special assessment liens against
the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lots 18 and 19 in Busse's Resubdivision of
Lots 1 to 6 of the Resubdivision of Lots 1
to 6 inclusive in Block 4 also of lots 2
and 3 in Block 5, all of dock 6, Lots 13
to 24 in Block 7 and Lots 17 to 20 in Block
8 in Meier's addition to Mount Prospect in
the North West quarter of Section 12, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.
Lot 1 (Except the North Easterly 16 feet
thereof) in Block 5 dedicated to form part of

document No. 301948 in Meier's Addition to
Mount Prospect in the North West Quarter
of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois;

Lot 14 in Block 11 in Bussers Eastern Addi-
tion to Mount Prospect in the East Half of
Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, in
Cook County, Illinois;
Lot 21 Block 2 in Prospect Park Subdi-
visionN the West half of the North 60 rods
of the South West quarter of Section 12,

Township 41 North, Range 3,1 East of the
Third Principal Meridian kexcepting streets
heretofore dedicated) in Cook County,Illinois;
be foreclosed.

Section 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount
Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prose -
cute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooper -
ate with the Staters Attorney of Cook County in procuring the
foreclosure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any
there be, and this Board requests the Staters Attorney to
foreclose and to cooperate with the officials of the Weller

Creek Drainage or any other district in procuring the foreclo-
sure of the lien of drainage benefit assessments upon said lots,

if any there be, and this Board hereby requests said Drainage
Districts to foreclose; that said Attorney for the Village is

hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in
any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's Attorney'
to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such other
steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of said
property to satisfy said liens.
Section 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.

a properly certified copy of a resolution adopted by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County
Illinois, on the 21st day of November , 1946, entitled:
"A Resolution providing for the'levy of a direct annual tax suf-
ficient to pay principal of and interest on t145,000 Municipal
Building Bonds of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, as it matures, and confirming sale of said bonds to the
purchaser thereof,"
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto affixed my hand and
