RESOLUTION FOR THE FORECLOSURE
OF LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS

WHEREAS, Ordinances have heretofore been adopted provid-
ing for the construction of certain local improvements in the
Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay the cost
of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable thereto,
said improvements were constructed and the report of cost and
completion was approved in manner and form provided by law; and
WHEREAS.„. certain installments of said special assessments
levied against individual lots and parcels of land have not been
paid and are now past due and delincuent; and
HEREAg, the President and Board of Trustees find that it
will be for the best interests of the Village that said special
assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW, TRFREFORE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That the special assessment liens against the
following described real estate, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 9 incl., 14 to 88 incl., in H. Roy Berry Co.'s
ttCastle Heights?', being a subdivision of the North Half
of the South East Quarter of the North West quarter and
the South West Quarter of the North East Quarter of Sec.
34, Town 42 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois;
also
Lot 3 in Block 4 in Busse Eastern Addition to Mount
Prospect; also
Lot 9 in Block 4 in Meierts Addition, Sec. 12, Town 41,
North, Range 11, East of the 3rd P.M.;
also
Lot 16, in Block 3 in Pro pect Park Subdivision;
be foreclosed.
Section 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount
Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prosecute

said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate with 1 I
the Staters Attorney of Cook County in procuring the foreclosure
of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there be, and

with the officials of the Drainage Districts in procuring the
foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit special
assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this Board re-
Guests said State's Attorney and officials of the Drainage Dis-
tricts to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the Village is
hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in any
suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's Attorney
to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such other
steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of said
property to satisfy said liens.
{ Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the sc are hereby repealed.

Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
