RESOLUTION FOR THE FORECLOSURE
OF LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS

WHEREAS, Ordinances have heretofore been adopted pro-
viding for the construction of certain local improvements in the
Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay the cost
of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable thereto,
said improvements were constructed and the report of cost and
completion was approved in manner and form provided by law; and
AREAS, certain installments of said special assess-
ments levied against individual lots and parcels of land have
not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees find that
it will be for the best interests of the Village that said spe-
cial assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens against
the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot 1 in Block 1; Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,
8 and 9 in Block 2; Lot 1 in Block 4 in Pros-
pect Highlands Subdivision of the Westerly
379.4 feet of the East Half of the North 60
rods of the South West Quarter, all in Sec-
tion 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of
the Third Principal Meridian.

Lot 12 in Block 11 Lots 12 and 16 in Block 2;
Lots 2 and 13 in Block 3; Lots 8 and 12 in
Block 6; Lots 1 and 12 in Block 7; Lot 1 in
Block 8 in Prospect Park Subdivision No. 1, a
subdivision of the West Half of the North 60
rods of the South Nest Quarter in Section 12,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian.

Lots 4, 5 and 13 in Block 24; Lots 10, 11, 12,
13 and 14 in Block 25 in Prospect Man9r, be-
ing a subdivision of the South one - quarter
(S 1/4) of the West Ralf (W 1/2) of the West
° Ralf (W 1A2) of Section 34, Township 42 North,
Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian;
also
Lots 26 and 35 in Waldemar Krause's Addition to
Mount Prospect, a subdivision of that part of
the West 379.4 feet of the East Ralf of the
North West Quarter, south of the Chicago & North
Western Railroad in Section 12, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian;
also
Lot 12 in Block 3 in Meierts Addition to Mount
Prospect in Section 12 Township 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third P rincipal Meridian; in Cook
County, Illinois;
be foreclosed.
SECTION 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount
Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prose-
cute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate
with the Staters Attorney of Cook County in procuring the fore-

closure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there
be, and with the officials of the Drainage Districts in procur-
ing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit
special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this Board
requests said Statets Attorney and officials of the Drainage

Districts to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the Village is
hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in any
suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's Attorney
to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such other
steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of said pro-
perty to satisfy said liens.
SECTION 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
