Y ° "4" * * WHEREAS, Ordinances have heretofore beenadopted pro- . viding for the construction of certain local improvements in the Village of Mount Prospect; and '.x'HEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay the cost of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable thereto, said improvements were constructed and the report of cost and completion was approved in ma_iner and form provided by law; and WHEREAS, certain installments of said special assess- ments levied against individual lots and parcels of land have not been paid and are now past due and delinc�.uent; and WHEREAS, the President and board of Trustees find that it will be for the best interests of the Village that said spe- cial assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens against the following described real estate, to -wit: Lots 18 and 21 in Block 2• Lots 2 and 5 in Block 3; Lots 5 and 6 in Block 4; Lots 2, 3, 8 and 9 in Block 6; Lots 6 and 18 in Block 7; Lot 19 in Block 8; Lots 3, 4 and 5 in block F` 18; B la nor 18, Lot 1 in lock 19; in Prospect n r Sub - division, being a subdivision of part of the South three - quarters (S 3/4) of the West Half ON 1/2) of the West Half ON 1/2) of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Also Lots 178 and 319 in H. Roy r 'erry Co.ts Colonial I . -2- Manor, being a subdivision of that part of the North East Quarter of Section 11, part of North West Quarter of Section 12, Town- , ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. also Lot 2 in block 8; Lots 9 and 10 in Block 8; in Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision, being a subdivision of the South 15 acres of the East half of the North East Quarter of the South East quarter of Section 11, Township 41 forth, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. also Lots 13 and 14 in Block 3; Lot 15 in Block 18 Lots 8, 9 and 10 in Block 22; in .b usse's Eastern Addition to mount Prospect, a subdi- vision in the East half (E 1/2) of Section 12, Township 41 f orth, Range 11, East of the Third Principal meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. also Lots 6 and 18 in b lock 2; Lot 5 in Block 3; Lots 3 and 4 in Block 16; in Prospect Park Subdivisio4 No. 1, being a subdivision of the West Half `W 1/2) of the No th 60 rods of the South West Quarter (S W 1/43 of Section 12, Township 41 !`forth, Range 11; East of the Third Principal Meridian, (except_ streets heretofore dedicated) in Cook County, I llinois. also Lots 8, 9 and 10 in Block 1 in Ernest f'usse's Prospect, Addition to Mount being a subdivi- sion of the South 543 feet of the East alf of the South West Quarter of Section 34, Township 42 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. also Lot 40 in Morningside Gardens Subdivision; be foreclosed. SECTION 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prose- cute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate with the State's Attorney of Cook County in procuring the fore - g 3 g 3i - 3 - i closure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there be, and with the officials of the Drainage Districts in procur- ing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit 1 I special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this Board requests said State's Attorney and officials of the Drain- age Districts to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the Village is hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's Attorney to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such other steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of said property to satisfy said liens. SECTION 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. 1 SECTION 4.
