LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS. * * * * * * AREAS, Ordinances have heretofore been adopted pro - viding for the construction of certain local improvements in the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS. special assessments were levied to pay the cost of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable thereto, said improvements were constructed and the report of cost and completion was approved in manner and form provided by law; and WHEREAS, certain installments of said special assess - ments levied against individual lots and parcels of land have not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and AREAS, the President and Board of Trustees find that it will be for the best interests of the Village that said spe- cial assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW., THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens against the following described real estate, to -wit: Lots One (1), Two ( 2), Three (3), Sixteen Eighteen (16), Seventeen (17), and ighteen (18) in Block Four 4) in Prospect Park Country Club Subdivision, being a part of the East ualf (E 1/2) of Section Eleven (11), Township F orty -one (41) North, Range Eleven (ii), ast of the Third Principal meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. also Lots One Hundred Forty -one (141) and One Hun- dred Fort --two (142) in H. Roy Berry Co.'s. ; Colonial manor, -being a Subdivision of part of the North East Quarter (N.E. 1/4) of Sec- tion Eleven (ii), and part of the North West I I _2- ( Quarter (N W 114) of Secti9n Twelve (12), all in Township N p Forty -one l41) North, Range Eleven X11), East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; also Lot 33 in Busse's Resubdivision of Lots 1 to 6 of Resubdivision of Lots 1 t� 6 Block 4, Lots 2 and 3 Block 5, all of Block 6, Lots 13 to 24 Block 7 and Lots 17 to 20 Block 8 Meier's Addition to Mount Prospect in the North °West Quarter Section 12 Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois; be foreclosed. SECTION 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prose- ; cute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate with the State's Attorney of Cook County in procuring the fore- ! closure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there be, and with the officials of the Drainage Districts in procur- ing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit s special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this Board requests said States Attorney and officials of the Drain - � age Districts to foreclosure; and that said Attorney for the Village is hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to !join in any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's Attorney to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such 1 other steps as he deems proper to procure the proilpt sale of said property to satisfy said liens. SECTION 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. - i SECTION 4.
