RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE_
LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS.

AREAS. Ordinances have heretofore been adopted pro-
viding for the construction of certain local improvements in

the Village of Yount Prospect; and
WHEREAS., special assessments were levied to pay the
cost of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable
thereto, said improvements were constructed and the report of
cost and completion was approved in manner and form provided by
law; and
WHEREAS. certain installments of said special assess -
ments levied against individual lots and parcels of land have
not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and
WEEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees find that
it will be for the best interests of the Village that said spe-
cial assessment liens be forelosed; NOW,THEREFORE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois=
SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens against
the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lots 18 and 21 in Block 21 Lots 2 and 5 in
Block 3 Lots 5 and 6 in block 4; Lots 2, 3,
8 and 9 in Block 6; Lots 6 and 18 in Block 7;
Lot 19 in Block 8; Lots 3, 4 and 5 in Block
18; Prospect M
Lot B Manor 0 19; in ros

division, being a subdivision of part of the
South three- quarters (S 3/4) of the West Half

be foreclosed.

SECTION 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount
Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prose -
cute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate
with the Statefs Attorney of Cook County in procuring the fore-
closure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there
be, and with the officials of the Drainage Districts in pro-
curing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit
special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this
Board requests said State's Attorney and officials of the Drain -
age Districts to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the
Village is hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to
join in any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's
Attorney to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such
other steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of
said property to satisfy said liens.

conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
