RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE
LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS

WHEREAS, Ordinances have heretofore been adopted pro-
viding for the construction of certain local improvements in
the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay the
cost of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable
thereto, said improvements were constructed and the report of
cost and completion was approved in manner and form provided by
law; and
WHEREAS, certain installments of said special assess-
ments levied against individual lots and parcels of land have
not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees find that
it will be for the best interests of the Village that said spe-
cial assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens against
the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot 16, 17 & 18 in Waldemar Krause's Addition
to Mount Prospect in the East half (i) of the
Northwest Quarter (4) of Section 12, Township
41 North, Pange 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian in Cook County, Illinois.

Lot 84 in H. Roy Berry's Colonial Manor, a
subdivision of part of the NE 1/4 of Section
11 and part of the NW 1/4 of Section 12,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the 3rd
P.M., in Cook County, Illinois;
be foreclosed;
SECTION 2. That the Attorney for the Village of Mount

Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to prosecute
said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to cooperate
with the State's Attorney of Cook County in procuring the fore-
closure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any there
be, and with the officials of the Drainage Districts in procur-
ing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit
special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this
Board requests said Staters Attorney and officials of the Drain-
age District to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the
Village is hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to
join in any suit or suits to foreclose instituted by the State's
Attorney to foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such
other steps as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of
said property to satisfy said liens.
SECTION 3. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed,
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
