RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS
OF THE REGULAR ELECTION HELD ON
TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 1953.
WHEREAS, a regular election was held on Tuesday, April 21,
1 1953, in and for the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, for the purpose of electing a President, a Clerk, a
1 Police Magistrate, three Trustees for the full term, two Trustees
I for a twa year term to fill a vacancy, and two Public Library
Directors for the full term; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, as by statute
in such case made and provided, canvassed the votes cast at such
election, find as follows:
FOR VILLAGE PRESIDENT:
Theodore A. Lams received 342 votes

BE IT RESOLVED By the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:

ceived the highest number of votes cast, be and he is hereby de-
clared duly elected to the office of President of the Village of
Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois, to serve for the term of
four years as is by law provided.

ed to the office of Trustee of the Village of Mount Prospect,
Cook County, Illinois, to serve for a tern of two years, to fill
vacancies, as is by law provided.

number of votes cast be and they are hereby deleared duly elect-
ed to the office of Public Library Directors of the Village of
Mount Prospect Public Library, to serve for the full term as is
by law provided.

Section 7. That all the officers herein declared to be duly
elected shall, as is by law required, qualify and shall be in-
stalled into their respective offices at the regular meeting to
be held on Tuesday, May 5, 1953.
Section 8. That this resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
