RESOLUTION TO FORECLOSE THE
LIEN OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS

WHEREAS, Ordinances have heretofore been adopted
providing for the construction of certain local improvements in
the Village of Mount Prospect; and
WHEREAS, special assessments were levied to pay
the cost of said work, and, pursuant to the Statute applicable
thereto, said improvements were constructed and the report of
cost and completion was approved in manner and form provided by
law; and

u certain installments of said special
assessments levied against individual lots and parcels of land
have not been paid and are now past due and delinquent; and

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees
find that it will be for the best interests of the Village that
said special assessment liens be foreclosed; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois:
SECTION 1. That the special assessment liens
against the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lots 5, $, 12, 13, 22, 24, 33, 43, 44, 45, 46
and 53 in Laudermilk Villa, a Subdivi sion in
the South East Quarter (SEz) of Section Thirty -
four (34) , Township Forty-two (4.2) North, Range
Eleven (11), East of the Third Principal Mer-
idian, in Cook County, Illinois.
Lots 2$, 43, 44 and 61 in Morningside Gardens,
a subdivision of part of the North East quarter
of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian.
Lot Forty -five (45) in Busse's Resubdivision of
Lots One (1) to Six (6) inclusive of the Re-
sub divi sion of Lots One (1) to Six (6) inclusive

Four also of Lots �s Two 2
in Block our ( ) and
(3) in Block Five (5) all of Block Six (6) Lots
Thirteen (13) to Twenty -four (24) inclusive in
Block Seven (7) Lots Seventeen (17) to Twenty

(20) in Block Eight (8) all in Meier's Addi-
tion to Mount Prospect, a Subdivision in the
Northwest Quarter (4) of Section 12, Town ship
41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian.
SECTION 2. That the Attorney for the Village
of Mount Prospect be and he is hereby authorized and directed to
prosecute said foreclosure suit as he may deem best, and to co-
operate with the State's Attorney of Cook County in procuring the
foreclosure of the lien of general taxes on said lots, if any tier
be, and with the officials of the Drainage Districts in procur-
ing the foreclosure of the lien of Drainage District benefit
special assessments on said lots, if any there be, and this Board
reque sts said State's Attorney and officials of the Drainage Dis-
trict to foreclose; and that said Attorney for the Village is
hereby authorized to file suit for foreclosure or to join in any
suit or suits to fore close instituted by the State's Attorney to
foreclose the lien of general taxes and to take such other steps
as he deems proper to procure the prompt sale of said property
to satisfy said liens.
SECTION 3. All resolutions or parts of reso-
lutions in conflict herewith be and. the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall be in
full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval.
