pending before a court or administrative tribunal, or when the public body
finds that an action is probable or imminent, in which case the basis for the
finding shall be recorded and entered into the minutes of the closed meeting.

discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body,
including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to

Minutes
CALL TO ORDER: Dawn Fletcher Collins called the meeting to order at 9:02 a.m.
Present: Sandy DiCaro, Jill Friedrichs, Christina Greco, Kathy Janonis, Mike Janonis,
Paul Seils, Teresa VanOpdorp, Tom Zander
Absent: Dale Draznin, Janice Farley, Eileen Gattas, Martha Heim, Linda Hoefert, Jim Uszler
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Motion made by Christina Greco to approve the minutes from the
April 3, 2010 meeting, seconded by Teresa VanOpdorp.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Financial Report dated April 30 presented and distributed by Mike
Janonis. Some discussion, then motion made by Linda Hoeffert to accept the Financial Report
as written /presented, seconded by Kathy Janonis.
CURRENT BUSINESS:
-- Teresa VanOpdorp shared Fine Arts Fest/Blues Fest details to date.
We are at a lower rate of participants. Thirty -two vendors registered. She will have more /final
information to share at next month's committee meeting. Teresa reported that task list will be
discussed at the June meeting and followed up with email for sign up.
- -Jill Friedrichs checked in on the Fourth of July parade information and that we may also be low
on participants for this event. Des Plaines parade at the same time. Theme: Mount Prospect
Celebrates Freedom!
- -Kathy Janonis reported in on banquet halls in the area, availability for date and size of
Celestial Celebration and cost. Committee discussion. More discussion at future meetings.
ADJOURNMENT: No other items up for discussion. Meeting adjourned at 9:53 a.m.
