President Schlaver called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M.

approval of the minutes of May 28th as corrected.

Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Phillips, moved to
Finance authorize payment to the American National Bank g Trust Co. of
Water Chicago from the Water Fund the sum of $3,671~68 to pay interest
Revenue costs as computed in the Village's letter to the Bank of May 28,
Bonds 1963 for refunding Water Revenue Bonds; effective June B, 1963.

Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Tmustee Phillips, moved to
accept the American National Bank g Truste Co. of Chicago's letter
to act as depositBry for bonds being refunded and to authorize pay-
ment of them of $322.00 from the Water Fund, for their services;
effective June 6, 1963.

Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Phillips, moved that
the Finance Director be authoDized to sell from the Water Fund
Bonds #361 and #362 of the 1955 Water Revenue issue at par plus
accrued interest to date of sale June 6, 1963.

Trustee Bruhl explained re above motion that this is to-comply with
Chapman g Curler's request that we dispose of these bonds.
Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Bergen, moved to
Finance authorize the transfer from the Water Fund to the Waterworks and
Transfer Sewerage Acquisition and Construction Fund the sum of $40,000 per
Funds the official statement of Waterworks and Sewerage Revenue Bonds
Series 1963, effective June 6, 1963.

Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Bergen, moved to
authorize the transfer from the Water Fund to the Waterworks and
Sewerage Fund Bond and Interest Account the sum of $20,000 per the
official statement of the Waterworks and Sewerage RevenUe Bond Series
1963, effective June 6, 1963.

iWater Trustee Bruhl, secdnded by Trustee Bergen, moved that the
iFund - Finance Director be authorized to close the Water Fund ban account
iFinance at the Mount Prospect State Bank and after making the deposits to
the Waterworks and Sewerage Acquisition and Construction Fund and
June 5, 1963
aterworks and Sewerage Bond and Interest Fund to transfer the
remaining money to the new Village of Mount Prospect Waterworks
and Sewerage Fund account at the Mount Prospect State Bank, effec-
tive June 6, 1963.

Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Bergen, moved to Finance
authorize payment of the following bills from the Waterworks and Waterworks
Sewerage Acquisition and Construction Fund: Sewerage
J. P. Miller Artesian Well Co.,
partial payment for Well #6 $20,000.00
Paddock Publication, Inc. publi-
cations of legal notices 435.20
Effective June 6, 1963.

Trustee Bruhl reminded the Board of the water and sewer bond Waterworks
bid opening set for June llth in First National Bank, bonds to be bonds
awarded to the highest bidder the same evening at the regular Board
meeting; the Village has an AA rating from Standard & Poore's; the
Treasurer has made up his annual report, to be published in local
paper before September 1st in order to receive Village share of tax
funds.
Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Phillips~ moved that the Chamber of
VillageTreasurer be authorized to allow sum of $200 to be paid To Commerce
group organized for Village celebration to be held July 3 thru 7;
this group consisting of Village organizations.

Trustee Phillips,seconded by Trustee Bruhl, moved that plans A.E.D.
and specifications for extension of sewer and water lines to Cinema Addition,
Theatre as prepared by Consoer, Townsend & Associates, Revised May Cinema
20, 1963, be approved subject to receipt of letter requesting per- Theatre
mission to install said lines by private contract and agreeing that sewer and
when they are built and accepted, they are to become the property water
of the Village, and also receipt of a letter agreeing to grant to
the Village an easement for the maintenance of said lines when
they are built.

Police cars
of Mark Motors for Plymouth Police Special squad cars be accepted,
as shown in minutes of May 28th.

Manager Appleby reported that the telephone company is laying
Manager's underground cable along Evergreen from Elmhurst running east to Main --
report Street; Well 7 in Northwest Meadows Park drilling has reached 1177
feet; Illinois Department of Aeronautics called for hearing at O'Hare
Airport this same day regarding zoning surrounding airports; parking
meter revenues are back up wheDe they should be, due in'large part
to the repair ~fforts of Officer Ralph Darling of the Police Depart-
ment.
County Manager Appleby read notice from Cook County Zoning Board
Zoning re hea~ing to be held; Dc~ckets 590, 591, 592, request for multiple
family and business at Euclid and Wolf Roads, east of Camelot Sub-
division, in the heart of a single family section.
Boundaries Trustee Bickley mentioned that he thought the time was right to ask
for co-operation in zoning, etc. from surrounding towns, particularly
Arlington Heights. President Schlaver, with ~he concurrence of the
rest of the Board, stated he would be glad to initiate meeting with
surrounding municipalities to discuss sphere of influence.
County Trustee Bickley, secondedby Truste~ Bergen, moved that the
Zoning Village Attorney be advised to file objection to zoning Cases 590,
591, 592, and that funds be allowed him for necessary expenditures
in pursuance of this case. --

President Schlaver read letter from Marshall Suloway of the
traffic State Highway Department wherein the Village was informed that
speed limits at Golf and Elmhurst Roads will be reduced to 40 mph.
