'1-.00 RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES FOR SPECIAL MEETINGS OF THE BOARD OF APPEALS, VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT I COOK COUNTY I ILLINOIS /fj6tJ WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. '1/3 approved~' , members of the Board of Appeals of the Village of Mount Prospect may receive certain compensation for atten- dance at special meetings of said Board; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section l6(C)(4) of the Vil- lage of Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance as amended, the President and Board of Trustees shall set and establish fees for applications filed pursuant to the said Zoning Ordinance; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No.Kdated#JY: ..../ ~J 19~;r, certain fees were so established and it is neces- sary to adopt a supplementary resolution as provided herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Illi- nois: 1. There is hereby established additional fees for applications for hearings pursuant to the Village of Mount Prospect Zoning Ordinance as amended, the following: (a) For any special meeting (as herein de- fined) the applicant, upon filing an application with the Village, shall pay an amount equal to $10.00 for the Chairman and $5.00 for each other member of said Board of Appeals, which amounts shall, upon presentation of a certificate by the Chairman of the Board of Appeals as to the number in attendance, be paid by the Village Treasurer to the members present at said special meeting. (b) Any amounts paid to the Village as pro- vided herein not actually paid to a member of the Board of Appeals because of absence or if no spe- cial meeting is, in fact, held, shall be refunded upon order of the Village Manager to the applicant. - 2 - 2. A Board of Appeals hearing shall be held once each month on a date and at a time to be set by the Board of Appeals. A llspecia1 meeting" shall be considered as that requested by any applicant for a date other than the regular monthly meeting date and upon payment of the fee provided herein, and upon the calling of the meeting as provided in Section 16(E)(l) of the said Zoning Ordinance. It is under- stood that within ten (10) days after the filing of said application for a special meeting the Chairman of the Board of Appeals shall determine and advise the applicant and the Village Manager if and when said special meeting shall be held.
