J'-/-tl RESOLUTION TO ABATE CERTAIN INSTALLMENTS ON SPECIAL ASSESSMENT WARRANT NOS. 1, 2 and 15 WHEREAS, The Village of Mount Prospect has heretofore pursuant to statute made and provided for special assessment warrant Nos. 1, 2 and 15 all as more particularly described in the records of the Village and County Court, Cook County, Illinois; and WHEREAS, to and including the date of October 31, 1960 the Village of Mount Prospect is delinquent on the following warrants in the following amounts: Warrant Number Amount 1 2 15 $ 8~l).8) 528.98 3,2JlO.J' all of which includes principal and interest due as of October 31, 1960; and WHEREAS, according to the records of the Village Treasurer the following amounts remain outstanding for the following warrants with the amount of cash on hand as hereinafter indicated: Warrant Number Amount of Bonds Otltstanding Amount of Cash on Hand 1 2 15 $449.48 $587.75 .~.........t~ .. - 2 - WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect find that there are no bonds or vouchers outstanding for warrant Nos. 2 and 15 and find that as to warrant No. 1 there is sufficient cash on hand to pay for the amounts due for the bonds outstanding on said warrants and that there would be no purpose served in payment on behalf of the Village of MountJProspect of certain special assess- ments on the delinquent amounts as aforesaid. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the President of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect of Cook County Illinois: Section 1. That any and all amounts of principal and interest due from the Village of Mount Prospect on special assessment warrant Nos. 1, 2 and 15 be and the same are hereby abated, and that the Village Coll- ector be hereby ordered to mark his records accordingly. Section 2. The Village Treasurer be and he is authorized and directed not to make any payments on behalf of the Village of Mount Prospect under special assessment warrant Nos. 1, 2 and 15, based upon the adoption of the instant resolution.
