DISTRICT, A MUNIC IPAL CO~tl:'ORATION
VffiERaS, the Chicago National Bank of Chicago, a national
banking association, as Trustee under a Trust Agreement dated
January 10, 1956 and known as 'l'rust No. 13990 and not individually,
was the record title owner of property hereinafter described prior
to April 2, 1956, and
VVI-IERBAS, sa:td property was dedica ted for public us e in
accordance with the statutes of the state of Illinois, made and
provided, as a park by virtue of a plat of subdivision designating
the hereinafter described property as We-Go Garden Park, said plat
being duly recorded with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois, on Apr:i.l 2, 195b as Document Fo. 16537197; and
WI-fBP&S, the Village of I'10unt Pro spec t has or may have
acquired an interest to said We-Go Garden Park, as hereinafter
described, by virtue of said plat and/or recordation of same, and
vmEREAS, the !Tount Prospect Park District, a municipal
corporation, has declared it necessary and convenient that said
property be used as a park and that it is desirous to own and
operate same as a public park under its exclusive control and
jurisdiction and has indicated its desire to accept a quitclaim
deed thereto from the Village of Trount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois, and
VJHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect is partially or
wholly wi thin the corporate limits of the I'/tount Prospec t Park
District, and
\TdEHEAS, the Village of Mount Prospect des ires to re-
serve unto itself an easement for sewers along a strip of land
hereinafter described, and
WBEP.EAS, it is to the best interests of the Village of
Mount Prospect that the hereinafter described property be deeded
to said Mount Prospect Park District,

Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook county,
Illino is:
Section 1. That the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook
County, Illinois, convey by quitclaim deed to the I'10unt Prospect
Park District, a municipal corporation, We-Go Garden Park in Town
We-Go park, Inc., Third Addition, being a Subdivision in the
:Northwest fractional quarter of Section 11, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal I'eridian, Cook County, Il-
linois; said subdivision being created by a plat of subdivision
duly filed with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook county on April 2,
1956 as Document No. 16537197;
Said property also being legally described as follows: That part
of said Third Addition bounded on the East by the West line of
We-Go Trail; on the West and Nortlwest by the Easterly line of
Lancaster street and on the South bv the South line of said Third
Addi tion (excepting therefrom all of Lots 151 to 17L~, both inclu-
sive, in said Third Addition), in Cook county, Illinois;
and reserving to the Village of ~ount Prospect an easement for
sewers, which covers a strip of land described as follows: Be-
ginning at the Northw€s t corner of Lot 172 in said Town Vie-Go
Park, Inc., Third Addition; then~e Northeasterly along North line
of said Lot 172 a distance of 140 feet, more or less, to Northeast
corner of said Lot 172; thence Southeasterly along a straight line
to Northwest corner of Lot 153 in said Third Addition; thence
Northeasterly along North line of said Lot 153 a distance of 125
feet, more or less, to Northeast corner of said Lot 153; thence
Northwesterly along the West line of We-Go Trail, a distance of
20 feet, more or less, to Southeast corner of Lot 154 in said
Third Addition; thence Southwesterly along the South line of said
Lot ISh a distance of 127.13 feet, more or less, to Southwest
corner of said Lot 154; thence Northwesterly along a straight
line to Southeast corner of Lot 171 in said Third Addition; thence
Southwesterly along South line of said Lot 171 a distance of 148
feet, more or less, to Southwest corner of said ~ot 171; thence
Southeasterly along the Easterly line of Lancaster street to
Northwest corner of Lot 172, aforesaid, to the point of beginning,
and that the President and Village Clerk be and are hereby author-
ized to execute a quitclaim deed to the ~Tount Prospect Park Dis-
trict, a municipal corporation.
Section 2. 'llhat th:i,s resolution is in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approva~ according to law.
