SPECIAL CLOSED SESSION

Mayor Farley called the meeting to order at 8:06 p.m., in the Senior Center. A roll call was taken.
Present were: Mayor Gerald L. Farley; Trustees Timothy Corcoran, Paul Hoefert, Richard Lohrstorfer,
Dennis Prikkel and Michaele Skowron. Absent from the Closed Session was Trustee Irvana Wilks. The
meeting was convened to discuss Litigation. Motion was approved. Staff present included: Village
Manager Michael Janonis and Assistant Village Manager David Strahl.
LitiQation
Village Manager Michael Janonis provided an update to the Village Trustees regarding the status of the
settlement that was recently reached with Martinez, Medrano and Moser. He stated that Moser has had
second thoughts with his part of the agreement and discussions are continuing. He also stated that there
has been very little activity regarding the pending Class Action Suit. There have been some meetings
with the attorneys to discuss strategy and there will be a Brief filed in the near future in an attempt to
dismiss one of the Officers.
Motion made by Trustee Prikkel and Seconded by Trustee Hoefert to move into open session at
9:35 p.m. Motion was approved.
Village Board returned to open session at 9:37 p.m. All Trustees were present except for Trustee Wilks.
Mayor Farley announced there was no official action to be considered as the result of the Closed
Session.
A discussion took place regarding the proposed meeting with the Menards' representatives on March 2 in
which elected officials would be present at the meeting with the residents.
Motion made by Trustee Hoefert and Seconded by Trustee Skowron to adjourn the meeting. There being
no further business, the meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
