F~% Russell Mueller, 6~6 S. Owen, requested time to talk before St. Pauls
the B~rd ab~t parking ragu[atlas at St. Paul's Church at the psrk~nF
corner of Busse mud School Street's. At present the street has been
desi'gnate~ .one-way during rush 'hours and is in a different direction
on sch~l days than on Sandays. There is no police officer present
~n Sundays to direct traffic, mad Mr. Mueller requested a man be
assigne~.. He felt this would eliminate the confusion.

Dear Mr. Bergen:
Falrview The Fairview Gardens Civic A~sociation hel~ a general meeting
cu March 15, 1966 to review annexatic~ proceedings to date.
Gardens A survey cf residents ~rior to this meeting indicated that the
ccuncll would be unable to secure consent of a majority of
residents to annex to the Village of Msunt Prospect under
circumstances where the~ would be requi~ ed tel purchase the
Fairview Utility Company by means bf a ~pecial assessment. A
motio~ was passed by the residents at the general meetf~g
cmmfirming resultS' of our survey and stipulating that the
Village of Mc~nt Prospect 'be advised of this acticuo
Unless some reasonable alternative be proposed ~y the Village
of Nount Prospect we do not plan te continue armexation
proceedings. At this time the Fairvisw Gardens Civic Association
wished~ to- express our sincerest appreciation for the cooperaticu
we received from you and the Judiciary/Committee in our efforts
to annex to the V~llage of Mount Prospect.
