The Chicago and Northwestern Railway occupies a 100-ft. right-
RR rezoning of-way through the Village. ~n the vicinity of the railway
right-of-way station the right-of-way expands to approximately tw~e~'the
normal. In our Village, an area leased from the railroad is
surplus railmoad property and is also now zoned I-2.
Th% I-2 zoning district permits railroad and railroad related
facilities. It is possible for those in the I-2 District to
construct undesirable structures on such land.
Perhaps our corporate body will wish to change this zoning
I-2 to P-2 so as To prevent any buildings being erected in the
future.
