County zoning Village representative appear at this hearing $:00 P.M., August
16th in Elk Grove Village, and if in his opinion there are any
objections, to ask for a 10-day extension to allow the attorney
to p~epare w~itten objections.

Acting Manager Ben Hammerer and Zoning Chairman Eugene Martin
agreed to attend, P~esident Congmeve asked that a copy of map
showing proposed rezoning changes be sent to Tach Sea,ch, and
stated that he will personally discuss this matte~ with United
Air Lines, who are contiguous.
Trustee Bergen read memo from Acting Village Managem
Hammerer:
Central Rd. Improv. "Re: Central Road Improvement
Rock Road has asked pe~raission to operate a portable batch
portabl~ batch plantplant on B~ickman's industrial, property north of Central Road
Rock Road at Welle~ C~eek.
The Boar~ should grant permission fo~ this operation on a tam~
porary ,basis since this opemation is not permitted by our zoning
ordinance."
T~ustee Bergen, seconded by Trustee Grittani, moved that Rock --
Road Construction Co. be permitted to install temporary batch
plant as shown above for a period not exceeding 30 days from
Septembe~ 15, with deposit with the Village of a $5000- cash
bond°

that the Board concur in the ~ecommendation cf the Building
Committee, to amend Chap. 2,: Sec. ~ of the Building Code by
Stop Work order deleting that portion dealing with 10-day waiting period before
issuing Stop Work order.

P~esident Congreve read note from Zoning Board
member Harold Ross explaining that their report on Case 65-19 65-19
will be delayed because of another session to be heard in its
regard.
Referred to Finance Committee: Request f~om Mount Rural Fire Prot~
Prospect Rural Fire Protection District asking to negotiate contract
new contract.
President Congreve read the following memo from
the Clerk:
"Your personal copies of the newly reprinted Municipal Code Municipal code
of Mount P~ospect as adopted January 15, 1957 and amended reprint
through July 6, 1965 are now available.
Revisions to the Code will be processed by the Clerk's office
to provide you with:
A. Amendments for temporary use ~un off on yellow colored
pages will be made available within 15 days after passage.
B. }%Ail page reprints will be distributed on a calendar guam-
tar basis to replace those pages of the Code Book with amend-
ments made during that quarter.
It is suggested that copies of the reprinted Code be made
available for sale to the public at the price of $20 per copy,
such price to include the quarterly updating service for a
period of two yeams."
The above item referred to Finance Committee.
Trustee Bruhl z~ad report from the meeting of the
Board of Health held July 28th. Recommendations were made as Board of Health
follows:
1. Request of S500 appropriation for Waller Creek tests.
2. Joint meeting to be held between Public Health & Safety
Committee and Board of Health.
3. New forms to be drawn up; "No Dogs" signs posted in stores.
Direct authority be given Board of Health to order, change
and send out bulletins and forms.
5. Stars given to Board of Health members.
5. Strengthening of Health Code.
Trustee Bruhl, seconded by Trustee Ekren, moved that the Boax~
authorize the sum of $500 for survey and tests of Waller Creek Waller Creek
to determine if the Creek is a health problem or not. survey
