Meeting called to INVOCATION order. Finance COMMITI'ng CHAIRMEN PEPORTS Reports FINANCE COMMITI'~ Tabled motion from minutes of October l, 1968: "Trustee Grittani, seconded by Trustee Teichert, moved to direct the Village Attorney to prepare an ordinance increasing liquor licenses by $1,000 each, except a club license which would be from its currenb fee of $250 to $500." Trustee Kilroy stated the Finance Committee voted to keep base rates the same and the Gommittee will continue to study other fees. The tabled motion died because there was no motion to bring it to the table~ but with the understanding that all liquor license fees would be reviewed by the Finance Committee. An ordinance was presented to annex certain properties lying in~nediately to the north of Lincoln Street and to the east of Weller Creek~ known as the Worley property. Mr. Worley discussed this matter with the administration and advised that he wishes to file a voluntary petition for annexation. His attorney~ Mr. Ed Hofert~ requested deferral until such tima as a tentative plat of subdivision could be presented. This matter was referred to the Judiciary Cormmittee and the Manager. The Clerk was requested to place annexation of the Worley property on the agenda of the second meeting in January, 1969. Annex. of Trustee Lewis read a memorandum from the Village Menager regarding ~0~ ~@~l~F~mnexation of 1005 Linneman Road. OTHER BUSINESS DRAINAGE AND CLE~N STBEAMS COMMISSION REPORT BY TRUST~ TEI£HERT: Drainage & l: PILOT STUDY STORM WATER P~ION IN STREETS Clean Streams Trustee Teichert reported the Drainage and Clean Streams Commission recommended recommended for study the type of remedy that would alleviate the problem for study of flooding in the Village, and the area chosen for a pilot study is $6,150 cost. cormprised of approximately 80 acres bounded by Forest, Kensington, Main and Ref~ed to Highland. The Village Manager reported receipt of a letter d mendation, dated this day from Bauer Engineering, estimating the work involved would amount to $6,150. Foundry Road IMPROVEFENT OF FOUNDRY RD. ADJACENT TO RANDHURST SHOPPING ~CE~TER Adjacent to Mer~orandum from the Village Manager with tabulation of bids received Randhurst regarding the improvement of Foundry Rd. adjacent to Randhurst Shopping shopping Ctr.
