Salvatore DiMucci, Trustee Lewis reproted he would witbdaold the repor~DiMucci

Con~mittee. It was also requested that members of the Plan Co~is~ion
be present at the Judiciary Committee meeting.
Case 69-24P Rezone Kaplan & Braun's 4th Addition: Petition to rezone~
the southwest corner of Golf and Linne~qn to the Village of Mt. Prospe~c~e 69-2~P
pursuant to annexation. Kaplan &Braun has received tentative approval
from the Plan Co~mission of the plat of resubdivision of the lets to be
rezoned R-1 upon annexation. The Judiciary Cormuittee, by at vote of
3-0, reco~r~nded approval of the annexation and Trustee Lewis, seconded
by Trustee Ahern, ~oved to concur with the Plan Commission and Judiciary

Case No. 69-27P 303 E. Kensington: (Famer Cooper's Restaurant) Case 69-27P
Petition to rezone from R-1 to B-3 - request by Village of ~. Prospect Farmer
upon recommendation of the Industrial Development and Econo,.lc Co~issionCooper
Property wholly surrounded by B-3 and the Judiciary Co~ittee by a vote
of 3-0 concurrs iwth the Plau Commission's reco~neadation by a vote of
6-2, to the President and Board of Trust~es to rezone the subject pro-
petty. The Judiciary Committee took cognizance of the Plan Co~ission
statement reconvaending the rezoning; namely "but the liquor license re-
striction is to remain", but feel that liquor licenses and the creation
~nd availability of same is solely within the province of the Presidnet
and Board of Trustees. Accordingly, the Judiciary Co~rmittee has requested
the administration to draft an ordinance rezoning same for presentation at
this Board meeting. Trustee Dewis, seconded by Trustee ~hern, moved to
rezone 303 E. Kensin~on from R-1 to B-3. Under discussion, Trustee Reiter
stated he believed the rezoning oculd be handled after the auticipated
sale of the property.

Case 69-21P - R-4 Residentail Development District: Petition initiated Case 69-211
by the administration before the Plan Cor~ission to revise Sections 15
and 16 of the Zon~ Ordinance. Upon creation of a, Planned Unit
Development by the President and Board of Trustees, as Section 5.1 of
the Zoning Ordinance, the existi~ Section 15 ~nd Section 16 for
"Planned REsidential Development District" became obsolete.
The Village Attorney prepared a draft ordinance making certain mechanicaEevisions
revisions to the existing Planned Development ~istrict so as to eliminateto the
the idea of a planned development and establish an R-4 District sLmilar t~lanned
the R-3 DisDrict. Judiciary Com~ittee by a vote of 3-0 recommends to the Develop.
President and Board of Trustees concurrence iwth the recommendation of theDistrict
Plan Co~mission (7-0) and the Judiciary Corm~ittee for approval ~of the
am~en~ment of the Zo~g Ordinance. Trustee Lewis, seconded by Trustee
Ahem, moved to contour in the above recommendation.

Ckse 69-7P Wedgewood Terrace: Petition to rezone 306, 308, 310 and Case 69-?P
~12 Rand Rd. from RX to B-2. Plan Commission by a vote of 7-0 recon~- Wedgewood
mended to the President and Board of Trustees t~hat the petition be Terrace
denied because it would constitute spot zoning, and fail to provide
adequate parking for the proposed use and weuld have a detrimental
effect on abutting and nearby single-fa~mily residential properties. The
Judiciary Co~r~ittee, by a vote of 3-0, reco~ends to the President and
Board of Trustees concurrence with the reco~mendation of the Plan
Cor~rdssion to deny. Trustee Lewis, seconded by Trustee Ahem, reeved to con-
cur with the recm~endations and deny the petition.

he Committee also considered the request of Callero & Catino for reduction in
a reduction in a ~ater main installation charge of $1,541.20 for an water main ins1
additional 215 ft. of water main laid by the Village, beginning at the charge
east side of Stratton Lane to the west line of the Fairvlew Gardens Callero &
Subdivision. Trustee khern, seconded by Trustee Kilroy, moved to authorize Catin¢
the administration to reduce the installation charge of $1,541.20 for
the water main system installed.

sewer by the Public Works Cc~mittee and stated this would be a

Drainage and Clean Streams Co~ission:
The Public Works Co~ttee requested the administration to direct a Requests of
letter to the Chairman of the Drainage and Clean Strea~s Commission Drainage &
requesting: Clean Streams

2. Geographical makeup of the Commission as to residency of members;

AN OFOINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SALARY OF THE
~ILLAGE MANAGER FOR FISCAL YEAR. 1969-1970
The M~nager's salary was established at $18,700.
