The Village Manager requested authorization to expend $14,500 for
over-sizing the water main on Busse Road from 8 inches to 12 inches, Water Main on
to provide a more ~Sequate water supply to the southwest ~part of Busse Road
the Village.
Trustee Soderman, secc~ded by Trustee Kilroy, moved to authorize
the e~penditure of $14,500 to over-size the water msln on Busse Road,
being relocated by the state.

The Village Manager snnounced the appointment of Lieutenant Fire Chief

It was agreed that the lease would be at the rate of $1 per year for
a period of ten years with automatic renewal, and should the
Library move to new quarters or in the event of the erection of a
Municipal complex, the lease would then terminate.
JUDICIARY CO~iTI'h~ Judiciary
Trustee Ahem reported on a meeting held July 23 to reconsider a
tsp-on Ordinance for Huntington Estates' outlet sewer. The Engineer Tap-on Ordin-
for Kenroy h~ estimated the cost of the sewer at $144~590. The ance for Htm-
Village Attorney and acting Village Engineer have recomuended approval t~.n~on Estat~
of a tap-on Ordinance, which will apply to all of the properties
benefitted by the sewer, i. e., so that every land ow~ar who will
tap into the sewer~ whether at the time of installation or later
will p~y a fee to the Village based upon his pro-rata share per acre.
The Judiciary Conm~Ittee reco~,,,~nds passage of a tap-on Ordinance
and directed the Attorney to draft such an ordinance for presentation
for first reading at the next regulsr meeting of the Board
August 5, 1970.
