Mayor Teichert called the meeting to order at 8:05 P.M.Call ~o Order

along the north side of Rand Road and west of Schoen-
beck Road --- in any event, the si'dewalk to be construc-

MANAGER'S REPORT
The Village Manager submitted a memorandum with the
recommendation of the Director of Public Works that
a contract with A.J. Davis for tree trimming and
con~rac~ with specialized tree surgery be extended for another

BUILDING COMMITTEE
An ordinance amending Sec. 21~1226 of the Municiaal Code
was presented for second reading. However, the Chair-
man of the Building Committee requested it be charged second reading
back to Committee fur further review and be placed on an ordinance

FINANCE COMMITTEE
The Committee considered a request by Mr. Frank Kern of
St. Paul's Lutheran Church regarding vehicle sticker fees

all school buses with a specific SB or other suitable ex-

An ordinance creating a beer and wine license was ares- motion
ented for a first reading. However, Trustee Furst ex-
elained at the time the Committee met to consider the
request of Carl's Pizza for a "W". license questions arose
and Mr. Marine was not present to answer. He wo~ld be Class "W" liquor
invited to attend the next regular Finance Committee license
meeting on April 17th and the Clerk was requested to place
the ordinance on the April 18th agenda for consideration.
FIRE AND POLICE COMMITTEE
The Fire and Police Committee reported on the proposed
Randhurst United Motor Coach Bus Service between Rand- reporv on the
hurst and Jefferson Park CTA terminal. The.Committee proposed Randhur~
voted 3-0 to concur with the proposed bus service and United Motor
recommended setting the $8~0.00 maximum subsidy restric- Bus Service
tion for the test period.
(Maximum daily cost to the Village would be $39.00 per
day with no riders.)
Trustee Furst, seconded by Trustee Richardson, moved
the Village Board concur with the recommendation of
the Fire and Police Committee and authorize the Mayor
and Clerk to execute a contract with Randhurst and
United Motor Coach Company for bus service from Jeffer-
son Park to Randhurst at a maximum of $800.00.
