This ordinance amends Chapter 8 of the Village Code by bringing various sections
of the Code into compliance with the Taxpayers' Bill of Rights Act.

This plat creates a two-lot subdivision to provide for the construction of
an office structure. The Plan Commission has recommended approval
by a vote of 5-0.
B. ZBA 09-98CareMatrix/Alden Group
Request for approval to extend the Conditional Use permit granted in
Ordinance No. 4998 (3/2/99), to March 2002.
C. ZBA 40-2000, 350 East Kensington Road (Home Depot)
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3604 WHICH
GRANTS A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT (PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT)
FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 350 EAST RAND ROAD (Exhibit G)
This ordinance amends Ordinance No. 3604, which granted a Conditional Use
permit, by allowing for the construction of a tool rental center, attached to the
existing building. The Zoning Board of Approval has recommended approval,
with specific conditions, by a vote of 5-2.
D. PUBLIC HEARING
This Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been published
in the Daily Herald on November 20, 2000, as required is for the purpose of
considering the use of a $12,744 Local Law Enforcement Block Grant, for the
purchase of technology or equipment directly related to basic law enforcement
functions.
E. *A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BE'I'VVEEN THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND THE
VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT (Exhibit H)
This annual agreement, required by Court Order, authorizes the Mount Prospect
Fire Department Village to provide emergency services to those portions of
unincorporated Cook County located within the Forest River Fire Protection
District.
F. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XX, ENTITLED
"FIRE LANES" OF CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC) OF THE VILLAGE CODE (Exhibit I)
This ordinance amends Chapter 18 of the Village Code with the revision
and the addition of certain fire lanes throughout the Village.
G. 1St reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 (TRAFFIC)
OF THE MOUNT PROSPECT VILLAGE CODE (Exhibit J)
This ordinance amends Chapter 18 of the Village Code by deleting specific
turn restrictions and load limits that were enacted earlier this year in conjunction
with the Route 83 reconstruction project, which is now completed.
