OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
October 10, 1973
THis meeting was called by Mayor Teichert on October 10,
1973 pursuant to Emergency Provisions found in the Muni-
cipal Code of Mount Prospect for the purpose of consider-
ing the suspension of license of Crazy Nick~ Snack Shop~
720 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, Illinois.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Teichert called the meeting to order at 6:40 P.M.
ROLL CALL
Present upon roll call: Anderson Furst Hendricks Link
Scholten Teichert
Absent: Richardson
Mayor Teichert read the following letter dated October
9, 1973:
"President and Board of Trustees
Village of Mount Prospect
On October 9 at 7:00 P.M.,~a Public Hearing was held
before a committee form the Mount Prospect Board of
Health. The hearing was held for the sole purpose of
inquiry into the Order of Suspension issued by the
Village Manager at 11:00 P.M., October 8, 1973 to
Crazy Nick's Restaurant located at 720 E. Rand Road;
pursuant to the terms of Article 4 of Chapter 12 of
the Municipal Code of the Village of Mount Prospect
of 1957, as amended.
Testimony given by the H~alth Inspector, acting on be-
half of the Director of Health Services, showed that
the continued operation of the food service establish-
ment would be a serious menace to health due to the
presence of infectioms or toxic agents upon the prem-
ises.
It is the recommendation of the committee that the bus-
iness licence shall be revoked.

A letter to Mr. George Poulous of Crazy Nick's Restaurant
dated September 27, 1973 from the Director of Health
Services listed the following violations.
1. 2 Housekeeping violations
2. 5 Food Protection violations
3. 2 Temperature violations
4. 3 Sanitary Facilities and Control violations
5. 3 Plumbing violations
6. 3 Other Facilities and Operation violations
7. 4 Food Protection violations
8. 1 Storage violation

rustee Link, seconded by Trustee Furst, moved the
Board concur in the recommendation of the Mount Prospect
Board of Health, which recommendation was that the
business license for the operation of Crazy Nick's Snack
Shop at 720 E. Rand Road, Mount Prospect, Illinois,
be immediately suspended.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Anderson Furst Hendricks Link Scholten Teichert
Motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Trustee Link, se.conded by Truste~ Furst', moved the mee'ting
be adjourned. Time 7:00 P.M. UnanimoUs.
