OLD BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 18 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This Ordinance allows for the installation of Yield signs on Thayer Street at (Exhibit B) Fairview Avenue, and on Wille Street at Henry Street. B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,060,000 TAXABLE GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS, SERIES 1998, OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS The proceeds from these bonds will be used for property acquisition within the Downtown Redevelopment Tax Increment Finance (TIF) area. (Exhibit C) X. NEW BUSINESS A. PC 17-97, Mount Prospect National Bank, 50 N. Main Street 1. The Petitioner is requesting an exception from the Development Code granting relief from the requirement to provide a 20 foot (20') utility easement at the rear of the property. The Plan Commission approved the request by a vote of 5-0. 2. Trapani Plat of Resubdivision This plat of consolidates the subject property into a one-lot subdivision; the plat was approved by the Plan Commission by a vote of 5-0. B. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE FOREST RIVER FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This annual agreement, required by Court Order, provides for the Village to provide emergency services of the Mount Prospect Fire Department to those portions of unincorporated Cook County located within Forest River Fire Protection District. (Exhibit D) C. PUBLIC HEARING This Public Hearing, called pursuant to proper legal notice having been published in the Mount Prospect Journal & Topics on November 18, 1998, is for the purpose of presenting the 1998 property tax levy.
