A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE VILLAGE AND SALVATORE DiM DCC I
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County,
Illinois:
Section 1. That the President and Village Clerk of the
Village of Mount Prospect be and are hereby authorized to sign
an agreement for and on behalf of the Vill~ge, a copy of which
is attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.

A GREElvJENT
WHEREAS, Salvatore DiMucci is the beneficial owner of
or can cause conveyance of good and merchantable title to the
following described real estate:
Parcel 1 The Easterly 75 feet of Lot 29 in Block 1 in Elk Ridge
Villa Unit No.1, being a Subdivision in the West half
of the West half of Section 14, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, accord-
ing to plat thereof registered in the Office of the
Registrar of Titles of Cook county! Illinois, on Novem-
ber 26, 1958 as Document No. l83l5~1, and certificate
of correction thereof registered as Document No. 1832286,
Cook County, Illinois;
which property is registered with the Registrar of Titles as
Certificate No. 835700, Volume 1676, page 351; record title being
in Pioneer Trust and Savings Bank, a corporation, as Trustee un-
der the provisions of a Trust Agreement dated the 21st day of May,
1957, known as Trust No. 11155. Said property is rectangular in
shape, having a frontage of 75 feet along and upon Golf Road (also
known as the Evanston-Elgin Road, Route 58) and a depth of 150
feet, being 164.22 feet East of the intersection of Golf and
Busse Roads. (See Exhibit la attached.)
Parcel 2 Lot 1 in Block 1 in Elk Ridge Villa Unit No.1, being a
Subdivision in the West half of the West half of Sec-
tion 14, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Thir<<
Principal Meridian, according to plat thereof regis-
tered in the office of the Registrar of Titles of Cook
Countl, Illinois, on November 26, 1958 as Document No.
1831541, and certificate of correction thereof regis-
tered as Doctwent No. 1832286, Cook County, Illinois;
which property is registered with the Registrar of Titles as
Certificate No. 743791, Volume 149l-B, page 291; record title
being in pioneer Trust and Savings Bank, a corporation, as Trus-
tee, under the provisions of a Trust Agreement, dated the 21st
day of May, 1957, known as Trust No. 11155. Said property is
rectangular in shape, having a frontage of approximately 80 feet
on an access road adjacent to Golf Road and a depth of 150 feet,
and being immediately contiguous to and East of parcel 1 above.

Parcel 3 The Easterly 75 feet of Lot 28 in Block 1 in Elk Ridge
Villa Unit No.1, being a Subdivision in the West half
of the West half of Section 14, Township 41 North,
Range 11 East of the Third Principal Meridian, accord-
ing to plat thereof registered in the office of the
Registrar of Titles of Cook County, IllinoiS, on Novem-
ber 26, 1958 as Document No. 1831541, and oertificate
of correction thereof registered as Document No. 1832286,
Cook County, Illinois;
whioh property is registered with the Registrar of Titles as
Certifioate No. 846931, Volume 1697, page 466; record title being
in Pioneer Trust and Savings Bank, a corporation as Trustee under
the provisions of a Trust Agreement dated the 29th day of Ootober,
1960, known as Trust No. 12572. Said property is rectangular in
shape, contiguous to parcel 1 above on the North, and contiguous
in part to Parcel 2 above on the East, and being approximately 75
feet by 64 feet. (See Exhibit la attached.)
And, WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect, a municipal
corporation, is the owner of the following described real estate:
parcel 4 The North 165 feet of the East 80 feet of Lot 3 (as
measured on the North and East lines of said lot) in
Juhnkers Subdivision of that part of the East 854.70
feet of the Northeast quarter of Section 14, Township
41 North, Range 11 East of the Third principal Meri-
dian, lying South of the center of Golf Road, Cook
county, Illinois;
which property was donated to the Village of Mount Prospect by
the said Salvatore DiMucci for public purposes of the Village and/
or its successors and with the view 1n mind that the same be used
for a fire station, and
WHEREAS, it is mutually convenient and expedient to
both the said Salvatore DiMucci and the Village of Mount Prospect
that the proposed fire station to be built be built not upon Par-
cel 4 but upon parcels 1 and 2 and possibly Parcel 3, and that it
is expedient and desirable for both parties that an exchange of
lands as above set forth be accomplished, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Mount Prospect is presently in
a position to exchange parcell for parcel 4, but 1s not in a
position to purchase either Parcel 2 or parcel 3 nor to obligate
itself for the purchase of said parcel 2 and Parcel 3;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT AGREED by and between Salvatore
DiMucci and the Village of Mount Prospect, a municipal corpora-
tion, for and in consideration of the mutual promises hereinafter
set forth:
1. That Salvatore DiMucci conveyor cause to be con-
veyed to the Village of Mount Prospect good and merchantable title
to Paroel 1 subject only to general taxes for the year 1962 and
memorials of record as noted on the certificate of title referred
to other than the general tax memorials shown on said certificate.
2. That the Village of Mount Prospect is hereby given
the options to purchase parcel 2 for the sum of Six thousand Dol-
lars and parcel 3 for the sum of Two thousand Dollars within six
months from date hereof. It is understood that either of said
options may be exercised without the other.
3. That Salvatore DiMucci cause to be removed the
storm sewer located on Parcel 2 and relocate same at his own ex-
pense subject to the approval as to area by the Fire Chief of the
Village of Mount Prospect.

4. That the options referred to above, which are being
given to the Village of Mount prospect by Salvatore DiMucci, shall
be exercised by the sending of a letter by the Village to Salva-
tore DiMuccl at 1000 East Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect,

Illinois, of its election to exercise said option and the tender
ot the amounts necessary and as provided for herein. It said
options are not acted upon within the time specified, then said
options shall become null and void, but the failure of the Vil-
lage to exercise said options shall in no way effect the balance
of this agreement or the duty and obligation of either party un-
der this agreement.
