B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE VILLAGE
CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance deletes the Class "A' liquor license currently issued to Deelyn,
Inc., d/b/a Mrs. P and Me Restaurant, 100 E. Prospect Avenue, and increases
the number of Class "S' liquor licenses by one (1) for Mrs. P Acquisition
Corporation d/b/a Mrs. P and Me, 100 East Prospect Avenue. (Exhibit B)

A. ZBA 13-98, 280-290 Westgate Road, Westgate of Mount Prospect
Condominium Association
The Petitioner is requesting variations to reduce the front yard setback from
thirty (30') feet to seven (7') feet, and to increase the maximum amount of
lot coverage to 54 percent in order to construct additional parking. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote
of 6-0.
B. ZBA 09-98, CareMatrix and Walgreen's, Southeast corner of Wolf and
Kensington Roads
The Petitioner is requesting rezoning from R-X (Single Family District) to
R-4 (Multiple Family District) and B-3 (Community Shopping District), to
construct a senior/congregate housing facility and stand-alone pharmacy.
The rezoning request includes conditional uses for a nursing home/congregate
care facility (CareMatrix) and a drive-through facility (Walgreen's). The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote
of 6-0.
C. ZBA 10-98, 740 East Rand Road, Menard's Home Improvement Center
The Petitioner is requesting an amendment to the planned unit development
for the property to allow construction of a new 160,380 square foot Menard's
home improvement store. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 6-0.
