Reconsideration of one-way designation on Aspen Drive B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE XIX, OF THE VILLAGE CODE, ENTITLED "NATURAL GAS USE TAX" (Exhibit A) This proposed ordinance would impose a natural gas tax upon those who purchase gas from independent contractors and, consequently, do not currently pay the Village's natural gas utility tax. NEW BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE MAKING CERTAIN AMENDMENTS TO THE ANNUAL BUDGET ADOPTED FOR THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JANUARY 1, 1998 AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1998 (Exhibit B) B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE XVI ENTITLED "UTILITY TAX" OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT This proposed ordinance would convert the Village's current gross receipts-based electric utility tax rates to rates based upon kilowatt hours consumed.
