A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE (Exhibit A)
VILLAGE CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This Ordinance deletes the Class "A" liquor license currently issued to
Deelyn, Inc. d/b/a Mrs. P and Me Restaurant, 100 East Prospect Avenue,
and deletes the Class "R" liquor license currently issued to Salsa
Restaurant, 1801 West Algonquin Road. The Ordinance also increases
the number of Class "S" liquor licenses by one (1) for Mrs. P Acquisition
Corporation d/b/a Mrs. P and Me, 100 East Prospect Avenue.

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3604
FOR A CONDITIONAL USE IN THE NATURE OF A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AT RANDHURST SHOPPING CENTER
The Petitioner is requesting an amendment to the PUD governing Randhurst
to allow construction of a 3,690 square foot drive-through facility. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 4-1. (Exhibit B)
B. 2nd reading of AN ORDINANCE RAISING THE 9-1-1 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE
SYSTEM SURCHARGE FROM $.30 TO $.75 PER MONTH FOR EACH NETWORK
CONNECTION (Exhibit C)

A. 1sT reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8, ARTICLE XIX, OF
THE VILLAGE CODE, ENTITLED "NATURAL GAS USE TAX" (Exhibit D)
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 22, ARTICLE VIII, OF
THE VILLAGE CODE, ENTITLED "WATER, SEWER, AND FLOODPLAIN
REGULATIONS"
This Ordinance amends local floodplain regulations so as to facilitate an appeal
of proposed FEMA floodplain maps affecting certain portions of the Village
adjacent to the Des Plaines River and McDonald Creek. (Exhibit E)
C. A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 29-98 AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT AND THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
RELATIVE TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF ELMHURST ROAD
This Resolution revises the original agreement with IDOT to include relocation
of the Emergency Vehicle Pre-Emption (or Opticon) to the new traffic signal
poles, therefore increasing the amount to be paid by the Village. (Exhibit F)
D. Presentation of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year
ended December 31, 1997
E. Presentation of the 1999 -2003 Capital Improvements Plan
