NEW BUSINESS A. ZBA 8-98, Steak 'n Shake, Randhurst Shopping Center The Petitioner is requesting an amendment to the PUD governing Randhurst to allow construction of a 3,690 square foot drive-through facility. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended granting this request by a vote of 4-1. B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE RAISING THE 9-1-1 EMERGENCY TELEPHONE SYSTEM SURCHARGE FROM $.30 TO $.75 PER MONTH FOR EACH NETWORK CONNECTION (Exhibit B) C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE PERTAINING TO A DETERMINATION OF THE PREVAILING WAGE RATE This Ordinance, required by State law, sets for the prevailing wage for contractors doing public works projects for the Village. (Exhibit C) D. A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 28-98 FOR A REDEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE AND TOWN CENTRE, L.L.C. This Resolution extends the date from June 19, 1998 to July 24, 1998 in which to enter into an Agreement with Town Centre. (Exhibit D) E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 ARTICLE XV (TELECOMMUNICATIONS TAX) OF THE VILLAGE CODE (Exhibit E) F. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 8 ARTICLE XVI (UTILITY TAX) OF THE VILLAGE CODE (Exhibit F) X. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Request to waive the bidding procedure in order to purchase 8 in-car Computer Workstations for Police squads due to the fact that these are specialized pieces of equipment. B. Request to accept a proposal for construction engineering services for the Maple/Berkshire sanitary sewer improvement. C. Request to extend a contract with Badger Meter Company for the purchase of water meters. D. Request to accept Northwest Municipal Conference joint purchase bid for crack sealing. E. Status Report Xl.
