ZBA 24-97, Southeast corner White Oak and Douglas Avenue 1. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING A ROADWAY LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE CRAIG--S SUBDIVISION, PHASE II This Ordinance annexes a dedicated, unimproved portion of right-of-way having been disconnected by the Village of Arlington Heights. (Exhibit A) 2. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF WHITE OAK AND DOUGLAS AVE This Ordinance rezones the subject property from R-X to R-l, as recommended by the Zoning Board of Appeals by a vote of 6-0. (Exhibit B) 3. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING EXCEPTIONS FROM THE DEVELOPMENT CODE (CHAPTER 16) This Ordinance allows the right-of-way width of 40', rather than 66'; a reduced back of curb width to 25', rather than 31'; a reduced minimum rear yard easement of 15', rather than 20'; and, a reduced lot depth of 112', rather than 120'. The Plan Commission recommended these exceptions from the Development Code by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit C) 4. Craig--s Plat of Subdivision, Phase II This subdivision, creating a 4 lot subdivision for single family homes, was approved by the Plan Commission. B. Esther Busse--s Plat of Subdivision, 400 West Central Road This subdivision consolidates 2 lots into one lot of record and was approved by the Plan Commission by a vote of 5-0. The property was granted the appropriate zoning for operating a veterinary clinic. IX. NEW BUSINESS A. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION RELATIVE TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF ELMHURST ROAD (ROUTE 83) SOUTH OF GOLF ROAD (Exhibit D) B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE DISTRICT NO. 1 REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA IN THE VILLAGE, 10 SOUTH WlLLE STREET (Exhibit E) C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE DISTRICT NO. 1 REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA IN THE VILLAGE, 6 WEST NORTHWEST HIGHWAY (Exhibit F) X.
