A.ZBA 01-98, 1768 W. Golf Road, Mount Prospect Commons Plaza
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR
PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 1768 WEST GOLF ROAD
This Ordinance grants a Conditional Use to allow a 120 foot high wireless
telecommunications tower. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
granting this request by a vote of 4-0.(Exhibit B)
B.ZBA 25-97, Text Amendment
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 14 (ZONING)
OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATIVE TO WIRELESS SERVICE
FACILITIES, SATELLITE DISHES AND RELATED EQUIPMENT
This Ordinance brings local regulations into conformance with Federal law.(Exhibit C)
IX.NEW BUSINESS
A.A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN GAIL MEYERS AND THE VILLAGE IN ORDER TO
CONDUCT THE ANNUAL FARMERS MARKET IN THE VILLAGE(Exhibit D)
B.Safety Commission recommendations:
1.Request of resident to regulate parking on Prospect Manor between
Northwest Highway and Henry and between Ridge and Prospect Manor.
The Safety Commission recommends the following:
a.Remove island located on Prospect Manor between Northwest
Highway and Walnut Street, then re-visit the parking situation
b.No parking any time on the west side of Prospect Manor between
Walnut and Henry Streets
c.No parking any time on the north side of Walnut between Ridge Avenue
and Prospect Manor
d.No parking any time on the east side of Prospect Manor between
Northwest Highway and Walnut Street until such time as the island
is removed and the parking situation is re-visited
2.Request of resident to restrict parking around Robert Frost (North) School on
Aspen Drive. The Safety Commission recommends the following:
a.No Standing, Stopping or Parking on the west side of Aspen Drive between
Maya and Aztec Lanes from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and 3:00 to 4:00 PM on
school days
b.Designate Aspen Drive between Maya and Aztec Lanes as One-Way,
Northbound.
C.ZBA 03-98 Mt. Prospect Park District, 1000 West Central Road
The Petitioner is requesting the subject property be rezoned from I-1 to C-R, and
variations and a conditional use in order to operate a recreation complex. The
Zoning Board of Appeals recommends granting these requests by a vote of 6-1.
D.1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV OF CHAPTER 23
This Ordinance provides that all structures or Village property located on Village
property or public rights-of-way be subject to a penalty in case of damage.(Exhibit E)

F.1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN

X.VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT
A.Bid result:
1.Catch basin and inlet repair
2.Cleaning of catch basins and inlets
3.Pavement marking on streets and lots
B.Request to accept proposals for sewer main repairs to the 18" combined
sewer on Central Road at Kenilworth
C.Authorize the purchase of 3 PCs, completing the computer replacement program.
