E. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 13 OF THE VILLAGE
CODE OF MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance amends Chapter 13 (Alcoholic Liquors) of the Village Code by
creating one Class "R" liquor license for Red A Chinese Restaurant,
1749 West Algonquin Road. (Exhibit A)

1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 901 WEST GOLF ROAD
This ordinance grants a Conditional Use for the conversion of a single-family
residence to a church, and for the construction of a parking lot. The Zoning
Board of Appeals recommended approval, with specific conditions, by a vote
of 4-0. (Exhibit B)
X. NEW BUSINESS
A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE BY ESTABLISHING A UTILITY PERMIT PROCEDURE
This ordinance establishes guidelines and procedures relative to right-of-way
and easement work being done by utility companies in the Village. (Exhibit C)
B. PRESENTATION OF PROPOSAL FOR CORRIDOR DESIGN GUIDELINES
Wolff Clements and Associates, Ltd. and Graf/x Communications Group, Inc.
will present their proposal to establish design guidelines to be utilized
for future right of way improvements focusing on enhancing the appearance
and viability of the Village's commercial corridors.
