OLD BUSINESS A. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 105 EAST PROSPECT AVENUE This ordinance grants a Conditional Use for a Planned Unit Development for a five-unit townhouse structure at the southeast corner of Prospect Avenue and Emerson Street. The Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended approval by a vote of 4-2. (Exhibit A) X. NEW BUSINESS A. ZBA 19-99, 310 South WaPella Avenue The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to permit a covered front porch within twenty-five feet (25') of the front property line. The Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended approval by a vote of 4-0. B. ZBA 20-99, 2400 Terminal Drive The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to permit the establishment of a cartage facility. The Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended approval by a vote of 4-0. C. ZBA 21-99, 1401 Feehanville Road The petitioner is requesting a Conditional Use to permit the establishment of a trade/vocational school. The Zoning Board of Appeals has recommended approval by a vote of 4-0. D. ZBA 22-99, 408 East Rand Road The petitioner is requesting that the subject property be rezoned from R-1 (Single Family Residence) to B-1 (Business Office), Conditional Use approval, and a Variation to the side yard setback to permit the establishment of a stand-alone 53-space parking lot. E. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TO ADOPT AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING A MOBILE TEAM IN-SERVICE TRAINING UNIT This resolution authorizes the Village to enter into an intergovernmental agreement providing for in-service training to local and state law enforcement officers. (Exhibit B) F. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT AND NORWOOD CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT OF PHASE l-B, LOCATED AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF NORTHWEST HIGHWAY AND ROUTE 83 (Exhibit C) G. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY IN THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS, AT 216 SOUTH EMERSON STREET (Exhibit D) Xl. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT A. Bid results: 1. Route 83/Golf Road Watermain Replacement Project for a portion of Route 83 between Golf Road and Sunset Road, and on Golf Road between Elmhurst Road and I-Oka Avenue B. Accept proposal for the removal and disposal of the Old General Store addition C. Accept proposal and waive the bidding requirements for a design engineering contract to replace the watermain on Route 83 between Lonnquist Boulevard and Shabonee Trail, and between Prospect Avenue and Lincoln Street D. Accept private and public improvements installed in conjunction with the Pine Hill Subdivision E. Ratify the purchase of telephone equipment for Y2K communication station F. Status Report Xll.
