1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 999 NORTH ELMHURST ROAD
(TIME OUT)
This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit for a 2,228 square foot
indoor entertainment facility at Randhurst Mall. The Zoning Board of
Appeals recommended approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit A)
B. ZBA 04-99, LaSalle Bank, 200 E. Kensington Road
1st reading of AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE FOR
PROPERTY COMMONLY KNOWN AS 999 NORTH ELMHURST ROAD
This ordinance grants a Conditional Use permit for the expansion of an
existing drive-through facility from two lanes to four lanes at the Randhurst
Mall LaSalle Bank branch. The Zoning Board of Appeals recommended
approval by a vote of 5-0. (Exhibit B)
C. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7 OF THE
VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance amends Chapter 7 of the Village Code to add signs on
Village approved structures in public rights-of-way to the list of exempt
signs in Section 7.205 of the Sign Code. (Exhibit C)

A. A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
CONSOLIDATED ELECTION OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT
PROSPECT HELD APRIL 13, 1999 (Exhibit D)
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF
CERTAIN PERSONAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE VILLAGE OF
MOUNT PROSPECT
This ordinance allows the Mount Prospect Fire Department to dispose
of used turnout gear by participating in an exchange program with other
fire departments, and allows the Public Works Department to sell two
units of Toro mowing equipment to the Arlington Heights Park District. (Exhibit E)
B. 1st reading of AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 23 AND
CHAPTER 24 OF THE VILLAGE CODE
This ordinance deletes Section 23.110 of the Village Code and amends
Section 24.109 of the Code by establishing provisions for aboveground
storage tanks for flammable liquids. (Exhibit F)
C. A RESOLUTION TO REPEAL RESOLUTION NO. 6-99 AND RESOLUTION
NO. 7-99 RELATIVE TO BEACON HOME DIRECT, INC. D/B/A SCOTTY'S
HOME MARKET MAKING APPLICATION FOR COOK COUNTY CLASS 6B
TAX ABATEMENT AND FOR CERTAIN TAX RELIEF
This resolution repeals Resolution No. 6-99 and Resolution No. 7-99 relative
to a Class 6B tax abatement application and sales tax relief incentives for
Scotty's Home Market; Scotty's no longer has plans to conduct business
within the Village. (Exhibit G)
