REQUEST OF SNUGGER¥ PUB, INC. FOR CLASS "B" LIQUOR
LICENSE SNUGGERY
It was noted that the Snuggery Pub had been annexed CLASS "B
to the Village last year. The owners of the
establishment contested the annexation and in the
interim, the Village had created a Class "Z" liquor
license which permitted the serving of alcoholic
beverages for a longer period each day, in
accordance with the Cook county standards. That
issue has now been resolved in the courts in favor
of the Village and now the owners have requested a
Class "B" liquor license to conform with Village
regulations.
Trustee Farley, seconded by Trustee Murauskis, moved to
authorize the creation of a class "B" liquor license
for the Snuggery Pub.
Upon roll call: Ayes: Farley, Floros, ~urauskis,
Van Geem, Wattenberg

Motion carried.
An Ordinance will be presented for first reading at the
next regular meeting, November 15th.
AGREEMENT BETWEEN ELK GROVE TOWNSHIP RURAL FIRE ELK GROVE
PROTECTION DISTRICT AND VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT TOWNSHIP
Village Manager John Fulton Dixon stated that the RURAL FIRE
Village and Fire District have been negotiating an PROTECTION
agreement whereby the Village of Mount Prospect DISTRICT
would assume all responsibility for providing the
services of fire protection, fire prevention and
emergency medical services. Such an agreement has
been reached effective May, 1990, as presented to the

The agreement provides for the 37 law suits brought by
the Fire Protection District Trustees pending against
Mount Prospect, Des Plaines, Elk Grove Village and

items.
While Mount Prospect will assume the responsibility
