Resolution No. 27-65
RESOLUTION DESIGNATING PERSONS WHO SHALL
BE EXEMPT FROM PAYING FOR MOUNT PROSPECT
MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSES
WHEREAS, it has, for many years, been the practice of
the corporate authorities of the Village of Mount Prospect to
issue Mount Prospect motor vehicle license stickers or plates to
certain persons in recognition of the public service rendered by
them, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Mount Prospect desire to continue this practice, but
to limit it primarily to individuals associated with the govern-
ment of, or employed by, the Village of Mount Prospect,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS:
SECTION ONE: That Resolution No. 41-63, and all prior
resolutions of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Mount Prospect conflicting herewith, be, and they hereby are,
repealed.
SECTION TWO: That members of the Mount Prospect Plan
Commission, the Mount Prospect Board of Appeals, the Mount
Prospect Volunteer Fire Department, the Board of Library Direc-
tors of the Village of Mount Propsect, employees and officials
of the Village of Mount Prospect, employees of the Mount Prospect
Public Library, the Mount Prospect Board of Health, the Mount
Prospect Electrical Commission, the Mount Prospect Police and
Fire Commission, and disabled veterans of the Armed Services of
the United States of America, receive a Mount Prospect motor
vehicle license sticker or plate without payment of the motor
vehicle license fee established by Chapter 17 of the Municipal

Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, subject to the conditions
hereinafter set forth in this resolution.
SECTION THREE: That no person shall receive a motor
vehicle license sticker or plate without charge as provided in
this resolution unless such person resides within the corporate
limits of the Village of Mount Prospect and the motor vehicle
for which the license sticker or plate is issued is registered
to an address within the corporate limits of the said Village.
No person shall, by virtue of this resolution, receive more
than one such motor vehicle license sticker or plate.
SECTION FOUR: That this resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its passage and approval in the
manner provided by law.
