RESOLUTION NO. 4-66 A RESOLUTION OF FORMAL ACCEPTANCE OF A DEDICATED PARCEL OF LAND IN HIAWATHA TRAIL SUB- DIVISION TO THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have reviewed the records of a certain _ parcel of land, located in the subdivision described as Hiawatha Trails, that has been dedicated to the Village of Mount Prospect for public purposes; and WHEREAS, the Minutes of the Board Meeting of the President and Board of Trustees for the Village of Mount Prospect, of July 3, 1956, reflect the Board's approval of the Plat of Subdivision of Hiawatha Trail Subdivision in its entirety; and WHEREAS, the Plat of Subdivision of Hiawatha Trail Subdivision shows a certain parcel, hereinafter more fully described, as being dedicated to the Village of Mount Prospect for public purposes, and WHEREAS, said Plat of Subdivision of Hiawatha Trail Subdivision, has been duly recorded in the office of Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, as Document Number 16661912, on August 7, 1956; and WHEREAS, said parcel of land, hereinafter more fully described, has been removed from the tax rolls for the purposes of general real estate taxes for the year 1957 to the pre- sent year, inclusive; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF MOUNT PROSPECT, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That the Village of Mount Prospect, Illinois, formally acknowledges the dedication of the following described property: Part of Hiawatha Trail Subdivision a part of the South West quarter of Section 12, Town- ship 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at the South West corner of the South West quarter of Section 12, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, thence 196.45 feet East along said South line of said South West quarter to a point, thence North 0 degrees 0 minutes 40 seconds East for a distance of 698.62 feet to the point of beginning, thence 249.26 feet along a prolongation of said last described line, thence 217.29 feet in a South Easterly direction forming an angle of 46 degrees 41 minutes from said 249.26 foot side, to the Northerly most corner of Lot 1 as designated on a plat recorded August 7, 1956 as document 16661912 in the Office of the County Recorder of Cook County, thence 140.34 feet in a South West direction along the longer Westerly lot line of said Lot 1 to a point, thence 96 feet along the arc of a curve convex to the North East whose radius is 191 feet and whose chord is 94.02 feet to the place of beginning, all of said land being more fully described on the plat of survey dated August 7, 1956 and recorded as document 16661912 in the Office of the County Recorder of Cook County, Illinois as the most North Easterly parcel designated by the words thereon "hereby dedicated to the Village of Mount Prospect for public purposes", in Cook County, Illinois. SECTION TWO: That the Village of Mount Prospec t, Illinois, formally acknowledges the dedicated purpose, "For Public Purposes" stated on the plat of Subdivision of Hiawatha Trail Subdivision, Document Number 16661912, dated June 21, 1956 and recorded August 7, 1956, in the Recorder of Deeds Office, Cook County, Illinois.
