HomeMy WebLinkAboutRes 14-67 02/21/1967 . . c o RESOLUTION NO. 14-67 RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE NUMBER OF OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF THE POLICE DEPARn1ENT OF THE VILLAGE OF HOUNT PROSPECT WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6.101 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect,by Resolution, the President and Board of Trustees shall designate the number of officers and members of the Police Department of the Villare of Mount Prospect; and lrlIlEREAS, by Pesolution No. 3-67, passed January 17, 1967, the number of officers and members of the Police Department under the jurisdiction of the Fire & Police Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect as provided therein was established; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect have determined that the Police Department should be staffed with Padiomen and a Youth Counselor not under the jurisdiction of the Fjre [, Police Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect; and WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Mount Prospect that all prior Resolutions previously adopted pertaining thereto should be repealed and a new Resolution adopted establishinr as of the date of the adoption on the Resolution the number of officers and members of the Police Department. NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE or MOUNT PROSPECT, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS: SECTION ONE: That Resolution No. 3-67 adopted January 17, 1967 b~, and the same is hereby, repealed. SECTION TWO: Pursuant to Section 6.101 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, there is hereby authorized the following personnel, under the jurisdiction of the Fire & Police Commission of the Villare of Mount Prospect, for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: RANK Chief of PoBce Lieutenant Serpeant Patrolman Policewoman NmmER 1 4 4 20 1 SECTION THREE: Pursuant to Section 6.101 of the Municipal Code of Mount Prospect of 1957, there is hereby authorized the following personnel, not to be under the jurisdiction of the rire [, Police Commission of the Village of Mount Prospect, for the Police Department of the Village of Mount Prospect, Cook County, Illinois: POSITION Radioman Youth Counselor NUMBER 4 1 ..........~ # c p .:) SECTION FOUR: This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passape and approval in the manner provided by law.
